Someone tell me what's wrong with being lonely.
Yeah, well, that wouldn't be a problem if people actually used logic.Being lonely implies that there's an unpleasant feeling due to being alone. Not having friends, family, loved ones ect. You can be alone without feeling lonely but prolonged isolation will affect most people negatively.

I'll give you a hint - it is the opposite of letting your feelings dictate your decisions, and the way you look at things. So what's your logical solution to loneliness then? I'd agree that some people could use logic to help improve a situation that is causing their loneliness but you make it sound like there's a logical solution for everyone who's lonely, regardless of their circumstances.

What makes you think it doesn't?The problem is that some people believe logic solves all problems and treat others like they're stupid when they think otherwise.
The problem is how people view traits such as selfishness/hostility/etc as smth bad.I guess we have different definitions as to what the opposite of letting your feelings dictate your decisions is. but even then, being fully independent is kind of a drag too in some ways.
