I was wondering why in some episodes, mostly during the Orange Islands why for "Who's that Pokemon?", the Pokemon that they choose is off by one episode. Like for example, the Pokemon is Marowak, but the next episode is about a Marowak. Why are they off by one episode? Did someone make a mistake or something? I have always wondered why they did that.

I am sure that "Who's that Pokemon?" does not exist in Japanese episodes!

What are you talking about? Who cares about the Japanese episodes. I am asking why "Who's that Pokemon?" is off by one episode during the Orange Islands. Anyone?

Possibly it isn't off so much as that it's more of a challenge this way. In the Kanto season, they would have "Who's that Pok?mon?" contain a Pok?mon in that episode, making it too easy.

Sorry, they do have it in Japan. Porygon was the Pokemon answer for the episode, Porygon: Electric Soldier which as you should already know never got aired outside of Japan becaused it caused so many Japanese childs seisures. There are also episodes where Who is that Pokemon's answer is not even a Pokemon. If you don't believe me, check out the serebii site at www.serebii.net for that is where I am basing this proof on.

I always thought it was funny in the first season in the Magnemite episode, when the twerps were walking in the hallway and they thought something was following them and then you don't know what Pokemon it will be. So you know what they do? "Who's that Pokemon? It's Magnemite!" That was stupid because it ruined the mystery. I like how in the later seasons how they have a clue and a random Pokemon, it's better.

Am I the only person who is angry they took out Who's that Pokemon for the Advanced Season? So now no Pokerap/Jukebox/Karaokemon and no Who's that Pokemon... how boring...

I dunno. I'm glad they kept the map thing, and "Who's That Pok?mon?" was too easy anyways.

Map thing? errr..... I haven't been watching Pokemon lately so I wouldn't know... is it like that map thing during the Whirl Islands tournament?

It shows where he is on the Hoenn map when they say the episode title.

they do still have who's that pok?mon in Advanced, but they haven't used any Hoenn pok?mon in it yet...one was Crobat and the other was...I forget...

The one that you are talking is not "who's that Pokemon"
In Japanese episodes, a shadow of a Pokemon appears before the advertisements, then after the adverts, the pokemon picture appears. And the picture is always the Pokemon in that episode.
But in US, the "Who's that Pokemon" appears in the middle of the episode, nothing to do with advert, and often irrevelant to the episode.
    Understand?

Yeah, I was disappointed that they didn't even bother to change the look of the 'Who's that Pok?mon?' in the new series. The only thing different was that it now says 'Pok?mon Advanced' at the top instead of 'Pok?mon Johto'. -_-lll On the sneak-peek, it looked different though, and showed two Pok?mon. I'm sure it was just for those two special episodes, but who knows.. Maybe they're working on one now?
