Why is the Pen mightier than the Sword/​

The Sword.​

A blade hune from steel.​

Sharp edge. Divider of flesh.​

Symbol of Power and Nobility.​

A tool of War. Broken with​

use. Worn by time. Equips​

armies. Useless once it's user dies.​

This is the sword.​

​

The Pen.​

The tool of artists and writers.​

A well of ink or lead. Maker of words.​

Symbol of Peace and Wisdom.​

A tool of change. Word with use. Dried​

with time. Equips poets and writers.​

It's word everlasting.​

This is the Pen.​

The sword prepares armies, but an​

inspriing speech written gathers them. The sword destroys,​

but the pen improves, strives for change and reform.​

The sword tells tales of battle by the notches in its blade,​

but the pen tells all knowledge its user may hold.​

Where the sword may silence, teh pen speaks.​

While the effects of the sword are temporary,​

what the pen accomplishes is everlasting.​

Whlie whoe the sword effects is one by one,​

the pen effects the people in droves.​

That was a great poem, and a great reasoning to why the pen is mightier then the sword. It was the type of poem that makes you stop and think why that is, seeing how writing utensils can last almost forever, while the sword just causes pain and damage to something. That was a great way to make one think of why that is so ^^.

Wow, that poem was very well written. ^_~ I saw a few minor spelling/grammer errors:

I really loved how you put the sword up against the pen. It shows how a sword may have a mighter appeal to it, but the pen is an everlasting device: one that can sway the opinions of the reader if used just right.
I might suggest trying to form your poem into stanzas, but the form you have it in now is also wonderful. I really loved this poem, keep up the great work! ^___^
