Wi-fi USB connector...

I recently purchased a DS wi-fi USB connector so pearl would actually be fun O.o I got a new cable for my modem and now my wi-fi connector doesnt light up..Also, my registration tool icon vanished...When i try to run it nothing happens ._.; I checked troubleshooting and it doesnt cover my problem D: Anyone have a solution or has it happend to them before? Please post or im making my team in vain :(

How are you connecting it to your computer? Is it the Nintendo WiFi USB? Because it goes into a USB 2.0 drive. I dont know what you are talking about with the extra modem .Also try reinstalling the program.

That is definately true. So if you are running Vista it is better to just get a trusty router.

That's true, Vista is not compatible with it.
Just stick to XP for another year.

I have xp. I did'nt get a extra modem just a new cable for some strange reason...I will try re-intstalling the software. Thx to the person who posted that.

EDIT: thx a lot punishment re-installing the software actually worked! ^.^

I wonder how well hacking it's firmware would work? They use this to turn it into a regular wifi adapter that canb e used for Pokemon too but it might be worth looking into as a way to make it at least usable on Vista...

COnsidering the fact that there are like 4 devices compatible with Vista, you should stick with XP. AS for your problem, try the USB ports in the backs of you computer, and make sure you are connected to the Internet.
