Will Pokemon Card Prices Go Up?

I have well over 2000 cards, many rare, lots of Holos, and I have German, Japanese, French, Spanish, and well of course English cards. Because so many people are selling them now and throwing them away, will the demand for them increase? Should I wait to sell my cards? How much more money will they be worth?

Very good question I've ask the same before. It's very hard to predict the future prices much like stock. You never know when the value will go up or down. If I had to guess I'd say value would stay pretty consistent if increase only slightly but again this is only speculation.
The Supplies of the older cards will go down but the demand my decrease as well.
The point is that predicting future value is just that "predicting". It may go up may go down, the one thing you can be sure of is the value of them today so its up to you to decied if that value is worth selling the cards right now. Now as good of a time to sell as anyother time.
    Hope that helped. happy selling!

People are selling their collections because money is tight for a lot of people right now. This means that there are more Pokemon cards on the market now than there were previously, making the demand actually go down because they are so easily accessible. I would say that now is not a good time to sell, because people are not as eager to spend money on non-essential things as long as the economy is doing poorly, and because you have so much competition from all the other people trying to get rid of their collections.
Pokemon cards in general are not worth as much right now; people don't want to spend a lot on them because they don't have the cash, and the sellers have to sell them for cheap because they really need the cash. If I were you, I would wait until the economy picks up and people start becoming willing to spend the money on Pokemon again.

Turue you are right. I fogot about that factor. It is a buyers market right now not a sellers market. Think of your cards as an investment.
