Windows Vista Sidebar

The Windows Vista Sidebar will not open any more, I had it disabled for a bit because of how I wanted my desktop to look (decluttered and empty, with no icons) and now I want it back.

I go to C:/Program Files/Windows Sidebar/sidebar.exe and double click it multiple times and nothing happens, no error message, no nothing!

I have spent my Saturday morning trying to figure out what the hell is going on, but I haven't found anything. So, if anyone here can help, you'd be a god to me!! lol

    ~Thanks

    Try System Restore.

If that hasn't solved your problem, try using a registry scanner like CCleaner.

Is the icon in your taskbar? If it is try right clicking on that and see if there's an option to make it visible.
