Users are tasked with taking a Pokemon sprite (one of three, chosen ahead of time by Aiden and myself) and making it an Ice type. This can be done by changing the color, changing the features by adding custom parts, or otherwise altering the Pokemon to look like an Ice type.
Chosen Pokemon Sprites
Rules may include:
- Users must use one of the provided sprites
- Image must stay within the 96x96 frame
- Image must not go over 24 colors
❄ Judging
The pieces will be judged according to three different elements: Concept, Complexity, and Execution. Members can earn between 1 and 5 in rating for each category (so no score can be higher than 15 for any one entry). The average of number of every category will be accumulated and added to the total. The total number of points a user earns is then added to the user's overall score.
Example:
So let's say I enter and the average of everyone's vote comes to:
Complexity: 3
Execution: 4
Concept: 3
Total: 10
I would earn 10 points, and those points could be added to the result of the next competition.
❅ Holiday Pixel Contest
❄ About
Users are given the chance to take any Pokemon they want and make it "holiday" themed. This can be any (or every) winter holiday they choose, so long as the imagery of the holiday is evidenced. Rules projected to be same as above.
❄ Judging
Like above, users will be judged on the three categories and given points.
Example:
Current contest results:
Complexity: 5
Execution: 3
Concept: 4
Total: 12
Earned points is 12. Then +10 from the previous contest. Total points = 22.
❅ Fusion Contest
❄ About
Users are to take the above two sprites and fuse them together, creating the ultimate Ice type holiday Pokemon sprite.
❄ Judging
Same as before, only the total number of points will be tallied. User with the most points wins. Extra consideration given to those members who rank highest in the various categories (most complex, etc).
Example:
Current contest results:
Complexity: 3
Execution: 5
Concept: 2
Total: 10
Then +22 from the previous contest.
Final Ranking = 32
This is the user's final score and what will be compared to all other participants. *No user can rank above a 45 (perfect score) for the end total.
