*off topic* it's been a long time since I last posted in this forum, but if you don't mind I'll join this RP (the plot sounds interesting).

There's one thing that is kind of missed out or at least I presume it has been missed out - if one chooses to be a pokemon can he/she be a legendary? From the plot it's clear that the legends are the ones wreaking havoc without a valid reason, so if we are legends is this ok? If the answer is no, then I'll change my RP profile.

    Name: Groudon
Age: As old as the world itself
    Species: Continental Pokemon
Appearance: In case you haven't seen a Groudon here's the description - The titan of landmass and sunlight, Groudon is an enormous pokemon that is amazingly powerful even for its formidable size. The outer appearance of the pokemon is marked by the giant impenetrable plates that cover its body. It cannot be seen in the company of clouds or bad weather. Usually it lives in volcanoes.
    Personality: Revealed through the RP
    History: Revealed through the RP
Other: For the first time in the history of the world, Groudon joins Kyogre fighting side by side as allies united by a common cause.

OOC: hmmm.. that'll make this RP really hard for me to handle, you CAN be a legend, it isn't advisable cause it gives the RP creator a headache.

Personality: Cold to others, tends to be a loner, really hates company
    History: (optional)
    Other:

that's enough members. Let's start this RP.

IC: I stood in silence as I overlooked the destruction. This was what was left of Lavaridge after a massive eruption caused by the combined forces of Entei and Moltres. There was nothing left alive, and the smell of sulfer was overwhelming. I felt Nidoqueen looking over my shoulder, and I shook my head. "This is bad. very bad. This is the third city to be attacked, and without a doubt with the worst results." I said, as I turned, and walked away, preparing to use Flygon to get out of here.

I looked up at the sky, noting the huge pillar of smoke off in the distance. I had adapted fairly well, to whatever this place was. I remember fighting with an armored brown pokemon, with scythes similar to my own, after jumping his prey, then darkness. I had woken up in a strange place, full of blinding white. There were all kinds of new things, new pokemon, and something else I didn't recognize, it was on two legs, had soft skin, and made easy pickings for a meal. I had moved off on my own, after all, being packless was by no means a new experience to me. I had no intention of going closer to the destruction, but there was nothing keeping me from hanging around this distance, seeing if I could catch a glimpse of what caused it.

Nidoqueen was acting as sentry for now, relying on her sence of smell, though the Scyther was downwind. I kneeled down next to a set of large dog-like tracks, and recognised them as Entei's. he was definatly here, and recently. There was no other option. "Entei here... Suicune around Rustboro... and Raikou around Petalsburg... this CAN'T be good, at all." I muttered.

OOC: That's great! Although it's going to be quite a challenge to view this RP from several perspectives, I think it would be more inetresting that way. Thanks, Flygon_Trainer. Here I come ...

IC: A giant whirlpool erupted from the ocean as the storm was getting more and more vicious. Blinding flashes of lightning and the cracking blast of thunder were combining in a monstrous harmony to create the worst storm ever. One couldn't tell the difference between night and a day like this one. Amazingly, the weather was experiencing a strange metamorhosis once the storm reached the shoreling. There instead of rain and darkness, the blinding rays of a blazing-hot sun were shining upon the land. On the edge of the storm and the beginning of the desert (for the land had become so arid from the continous drought) stood several shadows. Occasionally a mighty roar would raise above the vicious symphony of the storm and then die away. The assembly of the legendaries was taking place on the shore. The next destination was discussed and it was still to be decided. Some of them lifted their gazes towards the direction of Lylicove, others were just standing there, heads low. Pokemon and humans had lived together for many centuries. "Who are we to decide the fate of humans?" - some of the legendaries were asking silently. But there were others who found the idea of getting rid of humans attractive. "I've seen enough of all people. They bring nothing good. They are all evil and they have ill intentions when it comes to pokemon. They look upon us as nothing but tools. Yes, some of them are noble, brave, and honest; but do we sacrifice all pokemon to save those few people, who can be counted on my hand's fingers?" - sounded the angry psychic voice of MewTwo. Groudon had heard enough - with a powerful roar he silenced all. They had to reach unity for if they were divided among themselves, they had no chance in whatever they started doing. However, the titan of Earth did not want to take part in all this. He did feel some bitterness in MewTwo's words and he knew right away that the psychic pokemon was reluctant to continue as well. They had to find some other kind of solution, but until then, one more city had to be sacrificed - the humans had to realize that they cannot go on like that. Groudon slowly turned and headed towards the closest mountain, leaving all of the others behind. A powerful kind of emotion had awoken in the ancient creature - one that it had not felt before, and was probably not going to feel again. On one side there was the urge to continue, to teach the humans a painful lesson that they would never forget. On the other side, there was the attraction to them - the deeply underlying truth that pokemon were not pokemon if humans were not a part of that world. Weren't all of the legends who wished for that so deeply disappointed that they saw no other solution? Or were they simply seeing what Groudon wasn't able to see - the dark side of humanity, which longed for destruction and death? There wasn't a simple asnwer to that. He remembered...
When he took to sleep, the battle with Kyogre was not the only reason. A similar question stood then before the legendaries, but they managed to resolve it peacefully. Now the matter was much more serious. The destiny of all humans was to be decided.

I walked around the what was Petalberg. It was in ruins. My Charizard, Flare, was hovering above me. I shook my head. "The town si destroyed and I heard others were, too." Flare looked sad. In the distance I saw a pillar of smoke. "Mabye we should see if it has happened." I hopped on Flare and we flew towards it. Was we were there i saw a Nidoqueen in the distance. I stayed away from it. I landed far away from it and examined the damage.

"great. so the legends are causing trouble all over the place. So obviously we have to find out why, see if it can be stopped." I muttered to myself. Nidoqueen knew that I was merely talking to myself, but still commented. to anyone else it would have been just the normal language where the pokemon just said it's own name or gave it's cry, but I heard it in plain English. "It's obvious that we have to find a legend with psy powers, cause if we picked another legend, taking Groudon or Kyogre for example, it could not only kill all of us, but also kill us as you learn to understand its language."

Eventually, my curiosity had overwhelmed me, and I had decided to go closer. Now that the bad smell I had caught earlier was gone from the place. I emerged on the destruction, to find myself looking at another of the easy creatures, and one that looked like it was armor plated. The thing in armoor looked slow, though, and I was hungry. I liked my chops as I stepped forward from the bushes, dragging the backs of my scythes on the ground, focusing a hungry stare at the creature with long hair...

It took me little to no time to notice the Scyther, and immediatly, Nidoqueen roared, moving between me and the Scyther with shocking speed. Her tail lashed, nearly hitting me, though I stepped out of range. Nidoqueen fixed her gaze on the Scyther, making it very evident with her body language that nothing but NOTHING would be touching me any time soon.

I hissed slightly, bringing my scythe's up into a defensive pose. I didn't want to have to work for my meal, but I would. I stared down the pokemon, already using a glare attack. Maybe there would be a way around this behemoth without trying to bring it down. Either way, I was hungry enough to try anything. It had been almost a week since I had eaten...

I saw Nidoqueen go rigid, but I quickly had a berry out of the pack I always wore, and tossed it to Nidoqueen, who moved enough to catch it, and immediatly was moving smoothly again. "Fried, burnt, or well done will do." I said calmly. Nidoqueen understood immediatly, opening her mout has for a moment the dazzeling omega was visable inside her, but it immediatly burst out into a blanket of flame, her Fire Blast attack.

I tensed as the flame washed over me. It seemed like it was over before it had started. But as the flame cleared, I was standing there, unharmed. It was my protect attack, extremely draining, but powerful. There was no way I could possibly pull it off twice in a row, but I wasn't going to let them know that. It made for an excellent scare tactic. And a frightened enemy, is an easy one.

I wasn't even fazed by the lack of damage. it was normal for pokemon such as Pelliper to lead battles with Protect, this was no diffrent. "Fire Blast again." I ordered calmly. Nidoqueen obeyed immediatly, preparing to follow it up with Toxic. I wanted to get this over with, quickly. I didn't have the time..

I was completely unprepared. I had expected terror, uncertainty, but not a direct attack. The fire blast was massive, and I felt it hitting me on a weak point, in a critical hit. I fell to my knees, gasping for breath. I was hanging on by a thread. How I had even managed to survive the attack was beyond me?

"... too easy." I said, tossing a pokeball at the Scyther. I doubted it'd break out, and I had full restores for when I could heal it. Nidoqueen was tence. pokemon that broke out just tended to be more vicious, she would use Toxic if a break-out did occur. But even she had to admit, it didn't seem likely.
