Welcome to another Pokémon Poll of the Week, here in Pokémon General! These threads are pretty simple- pick a few options from the poll above, and feel free to post about your choices. As always with these threads, we do ask that you follow our golden rule:

"Which of the legendary golems are your favorite?"

We've already done a few of the legendary trios, so why not do this one? Plus, this one's more exciting, since there's a 4th Pokemon added as well! This one will be multiple choice, so select your favorites to your heart's content. Let the voting begin!!

I voted for Regice and Registeel. They always appealed to me more in typing and design, and I really just don't like the other two that much.

My fave of the bunch in terms of design is Regice, because I do love Ice-types plus I remember one doing so good for me in a random battle on Showdown. It's bulky and I always laugh at the fact you can't touch it in Pokemon Amie because its body is entirely made of ice and it freezes you.

Registeel is the other one I picked, because I also like its looks and it is a pretty good Steel-type. I even remember when it had a sprite that resembled Hitler's salute, man that was controversial.

I picked Registeel since it's the best competitively, but I do agree Regice has the best design.

I voted for Regice and Regigigas. If I had voted on this poll before ORAS were released, it probably just would have been Regigigas, but the method for catching Regice was so dastardly convoluted I loved it. One of my favorite part about the original Hoenn games was how damn difficult it was to catch a Feebas. If you had a Feebas in that game, you were hot stuff. Nowadays you just have to fish under a shadow and that ugly things is guaranteed to show. So, while I've always liked Regice, I really appreciate him even more because of how dumb it was to capture him in the newest installment. And all of the Regis, I guess, but Regice in particular.

I've always liked Regigigas, and I've never really been able to put a finger on why. I think I like how it looks like he's just got broccoli growing out of his shoulders. He reminds me of a chia pet.

Im all for Regice and Registeel
The reason i chose them is that theyre both great types but i also love how Regice looks like a crystal and Registeel is really modernized slow but powerful.

Now Regirock i cant say i like its just a bunch of rocks put together that dont make it that appealing its also weak to a lot of different types make it not so formidable

Regigigas the Regiking never made much sense to me for some reason he has a grassy substance growing on him he has a lot of strength is really slow and isnt really a powerful legendary theres also like no backstory on him maybe if he had a larger one id like him more.

I do wish theyd add Regis at times but im quite content with the amount they have i love the Regis i just hope they expand the story behind them more especially Regigigas

I like all of the Regis minus Regigigas, because they had the best freaking legendary battle theme in RSE. They were holed up in strange areas, were unlocked by a procedure that sounds ripped out of a 90s webpage about Pokemon rumors, and once you unlocked them you went to their hidey holes, followed a different procedure with each one, and then encountered the best battle theme ever. And got cool Pokemon! I never used any of them but... I still like them. I have no clue what they're there for, but that kinda adds to their appeal, being elemental golems sealed away by an ancient society we know nothing of.

Regigigas though is a pain in the butt to get and isn't as well designed as its counterparts. We have no clue what the Regis do and that's perfectly fine, but with Regigigas all we get is a lame wives tale about it towing continents with giant rope, a Pokemon that really doesn't match its elemental trio in any way, and a lame ability in the form of Slow Start, which halves its speed and attack for 5 turns. Lame!

Regice is dear to me and was very helpful for my kid self in the R/S days. Trained it to a high level and was stunned at how good a tank it was against special moves.. was pretty much indestructible. All that pain and suffering to capture it was so worth it. Plus it's the coolest-looking one without a doubt.

Regigigas though. Not only is its name annoying to write out (looks misspelled to me each time) but its design was lackluster - still doesn't compare to the original three for me. In order of preference I'll probably go Regice > Registeel > Regirock > Regigigas, though Registeel and Regirock are pretty much in the same "zone," haha.

I was certainly not Regi for that thread title. ;)

I'm pretty torn between Regirock and Regice. I love Regice's sleek design and from what I remember of it in the anime, the way it moves is pretty cool too. I'm not sure what it is about Regirock but I'm quite a big fan of its design too, and I also really like its colours haha. I haven't used any of the Regis extensively though so mainly choosing based on aesthetics.

I don't like Regigigas, it looks out of place next to the other golems, which each represent an element what their body is made of and Regigigas doesn't really. My favorite is Registeel, because it has both decent defense and special defense. I loved to use it in the Battle Factory, it was truly unstoppable!

My favourite definitely has to be Registeel! I love steel types more than any other type, so there's that. I also think Registeel looks awesome design-wise. Like many others, I adore the way that the Golems are obtained in-game - it's a lot of fun. I like Regirock, Regice, and Regigigas, but Registeel has always been my favourite.

My votes go to Regice and Registeel; they have always been my favourites of this trio, and it's leader.

Regice because it's my favourite type, and is a wonderful Special Wall, with Boltbeam to boot. Registeel because it makes a great contribution to Gravity teams :) One of my personal favourite strategies.

I'll be honest- I've never been a big fan of the Regis as Pokemon, though I do enjoy the lore behind them, and the unique ways that you encounter them back in the third gen games. Since I haven't used any of them enough to have a real opinion on them, I voted for Regice, mainly because of its design, and because I like Ice types (I like Steel types too, but something about Registeel strikes me as a bit off, though I can't put my finger on it).

Regigigas. Even with its sucky ability, its design is just so grand. I just like it.
