    Look like Pokemon rival Youkai Watch is getting a 2nd season .
    The New Season will introduce a new protagonist alone with already existing old protagonist.
    However , it seem they pick more unique Way to introduce a new character.

    Currently Jibaniya is more popular then Pikachu ! The English dud of the series will come out this year.
    Oh , The new story of Youkai watch 3 game take place in United State .
    I wonder how long Pokemon would survive against Youkai Watch ?

    Just because they game survive doesn't mean the Anime will survive ether.
    Mario , Rockman and Zelda are popular game series.
    But there anime isn't very popular and they are not as popular franchise as Pokemon.

    Pokemon game popularity and the ongoing anime are linked. Kids continue to get into the franchise via the anime and game sales stay strong. If the anime got cut then the franchise would undoubtedly downsize each new generation.
     
    Now for the actual show , I like the way the New Protagonist talk so fast !
    She's voice by Madoka Magica Aoi Yuki .

    There is no point of running an Anime if less & less Kids watchs the Anime.

    Kids clearly do watch the anime.

    Aoi Yuuki, huh. Would have to be a strong franchise to bring a big hitter like her in.

    But most of them drop the series after few episode!
    Specially since Ash's goal is The Driving Force of the series but when Fans realize Ash will never achieve it then they just lose interest.
    Plus , The series now has Boring Character interaction , Unfunny Gag , wrong Comic timing , wrong reaction and Bad script writing .
    Most of the character talk like as if they are from Mid-era or Something.
    Specially The way they say ''My partner'' ! Seriously , Does it hurt to call Pokemon ''My friend''.
    Also Ash & his friend talk to each other using polite term of Speech ! However , it make their Character interaction Boring .
    After all , Ash & his friend are 10 year old Kid !
    No matter how smart they get , They will still be Kids and Kids need to act like kids in a Kids Anime .
    Also , Pokemon really leak good Bizarre character with Bizarre attic.
    I mean , Youkai Watch season 2 haven't started But I already start to like this new Protagonist only because off her Speedy talking . Plus , I enjoy Keita X Fumika more then Amourshipping even though Keita didn't made any process in impressing her. Instate he made a fool out of himself multiple time in front of her because of Youkais.

    Youkai Watch has better script , funny gag , Dynamic Character interaction , proper comic timing and hilarious reaction that made it into more popular Anime then Pokemon Currently in Japan.
     
    I'm having the strangest sense of deja vu. Did we have this exact same conversation sometime last year?

    In terms of Japanese TV ratings Pokemon is not the juggernaut it once was but it is still attracts millions of viewers each week and sporadically makes it's way into top 10 rankings. Yokai watch has semi-cemented itself in the top 10 anime tv ratings, all be it behind 6 or 7 longer running franchises and for a short amount of time. If Yokai watch is still here in 4 years time then it would have begun to impress me. Pokemon will be close to hitting 25 by then,

    Interesting to see they've incorporated a new character with a watch. Only watched the first few episodes when the first season started airing, but it's pretty cool how far they've come.

    I do have to agree with Lapras though in most cases. I don't really quite see what's the point of arguing with it here.
    Despite you saying that "There is no point of running an Anime if less & less Kids watchs the Anime." as said, Pokemon still has a millions of people watching it. There's no point in canceling it while there are still lots of people who enjoy it.

    Good for Yokai Watch getting them ratings, but Pokemon still has a long lifeline and a large backsack of older and newer fans dropping through the door. You never know, Pokemon may even change up the anime a bit and promote in-game character series like they did for B2W2 and that would just attract even more fans to watch the anime like Digimon bringing Adventure Tri. in. Then again they may not do that, but Pokemon is still quite a decent series. You just never know with Pokemon because they still have so much up their sleeves.

    Although I love Level-5 works. in overall personal preference I still enjoyed the Inazuma Eleven and Danball Senki series over Yokai Watch any day.

    Even if that were true, the anime caused Youkai Watch to become the most popular gaming franchise (and, as a result, a major media conglomerate) in Japan for almost 2 years, jumping even over Pokemon's release of ORAS and every other major Japanese franchise release, so...

    ...Yeah, this show isn't going to lose them any money.
     
    I notice that many action packed Animes like Inazuma Eleven , Gundam Build fighter and Yugioh get less rating .
    While mainly Gag based Anime like Doreamon , Shinchan and Yokai Watch get better rating then those anime.
    So I think may be Kids loves simplistic Anime geared toward Comedy then action.
    Kids probably prefer something like this--

    Have you cheek the ranking ? Pokemon lost its place in Ranking long time ago .
    Only 1 or 2 episode barely make it to Top 10 ranking .
    As for newer Fan , You should know Pokemon follows a Long time of Continuity unlike Doreamon and Shinchan.
    Which is one of the main behind people making Pun of Ash still being 10 year old even though protagonist of those Anime haven't aged ether.
    Anyway , Its not easy getting into an Anime that has such a long line of Continuity . Trust me , I tried with Detective Conan but their just so many episodes.
    Also , Bandai sales chart show the dropping of Pokemon Merchandise sales while Yokai watch took the 1st place in Merchandise selling .

    Yeah, I don't think that's true. Youkai Watch is the only example of a popular kids comedy above. Doraemon isn't- it's an anime staple and an ongoing classic, similar to something like Detective Conan, but it isn't what I'd call "popular"; it's more of a household name. Shin Chan isn't, either, as it isn't a kids show.

    What's more, trying to assert that Youkai Watch is simpler than Inazuma Eleven is a big statement, and one that I don't agree with. I'd say that the ratings have more to do with marketing and the longevity than they do the shows themselves. Plus you have to consider that shows like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Gundam Build Fighters aren't for kids specifically (especially the latter). Their target audiences are rather general.

    GBF and AGE were undoubtedly a two pronged attack to get more kids into the Gundam franchise. Of course older people watch them too but Gundam had been getting rather teen/adult orientated recently.
