    What are your three favorite music genres?

    1. Gothic Rock!!! --Nightwish and Evanescence rock!
    2. Classic Rock -- The Who baby.
    3. J-Pop -- The only pop genere I can listen to. No offense to anyone.
     
    Post-Punk (no, not the diluted punk we have now...this is punk in the 80's...)
    Alternative Rock
    J-Rock
    Classic Rock
    Anything with "U2" in it... =D (so... that's a pretty wide variety of music...)

    dont mean to be rude but Nightwish is Symphonic Metal ^^;

    anyway my fav Genres are:

    Gothic Metal (not to be confused with Gothic Rock ^^;; ) - Sentenced, Poisonblack
    Power Metal - Blind Guardian, Sonata Arctica
    Heavy Symphonic Metal - Demons & Wizards (omfg these guys kick ***! this is a perfect example of what happens when two great musicians (Hansi K?rsch and Jon Schaffer) from two awsome bands (Blind Guardian and Iced Earth) get together)
    Symphonic Metal - Nightwish
    Heavy Metal - Judas Priest, Iced Earth
    Folk Metal - Finntroll (they mix together Black/Folk/Polka, yes i said it XD POLKA XD)
    Death Metal - Sentenced (when they first started off they were Death Metal =3), Amon Amarth
    Thrash Metal - Metallica
    Industrial Metal - Rammstein
    Progressive Power Symphonic Metal - Symphony X
    Classic Rock - Queen, Aerosmith, etc.
    Alt. Rock - Linkin Park, Crossfade
    Hard-Rock - Disturbed, Slipknot
    Rock/Pop - The Hives

    Meh. I hate how everything's all labled into so many things, now.

    I liked back when it was just either Rock, Metal, Pop, Country, Classical, Jazz, Blues, Hip-Hop, and Rap. Now it's just a whole bunch of other crap.

    Anyways...

    Rock
    Metal
    Classical (very little of it XD)
    Jazz (gotta love the jazz from the Cowboy Bebop OST)
    Blues (Read the Jazz comment)
    Rap


    I keep it real XD
     
    My favorite genre is rap (my favorite rapper is 50-Cent), but there is some rock I like, like Linkin Park.
     
    I like Punk Rock, Pop, Country, Oldies and pretty much anything i can dance or skate too
     
    Ska, Ska, SKA SKA SKA SKA SKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

    S-K-A.......yay!!!!! *skanks like a madman* the best ska bands are kalnoky's bands: catch 22 and streetlight manifesto.
    and indie rock, like the apes and les savy fav. and well... pretty much any other frenchkiss band.
     
    This really shouldn't come as too big of a surprise, but i also love ska. Rsgh5 is right, the Kalnoky bands own. I also like some kids of rock, like Muse and Cursive.
     
    Hard rock, metal, alt. rock, SOME emo, jazz, swing... Think Bullet For My Valentine, Atreyu, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Thursday, Frank Sinatra... etc. :P

    And Evanescence is Dark Rock. Both bands are nowhere near Goth ^^'
    Anyways...

    -Electro
    -Electronica
    -Experimental
    -Medieval
    -Industrial
