Your last PC Leave of Absence?

    When was the last time you spent a while away from PC? Why did you do it?
     
    I've never left. lol

    I didn't really get active in the community for a year or so after joining, but I was still hanging around rom hacking the whole time, so I've never had any reason to leave.
     
    I actually can't remember exactly when I did it, but I know I've done it twice. When I do it, I usually do it just to take a break, deal with ril things, etc. Usually doesnt go over a month.
     
    Maybe a month or so ago, I took a demoted leave of absence. Though I don't really wanna say why, lol.

    Same as me. We took time off around the same time; me a couple of days after I think.

    Completely unrelated reasons, I had some personal problems I needed to iron out.​

    I'm suppose to be on one now and I've just started coming back to forums the other day. Generally because of school I've been so busy with I barely have much time anymore.

    That was at least a week long? Sometime last year I think. I usually take a week off of PC every year because I get burnt out on it. I haven't done it this year yet. Maybe I won't for a change.

    The last time I had to take a LoA longer than a week was probably when my roommate moved in two years ago this August, because we had to wait a few weeks for Internet again. Made me wish the cable was already in my name instead of not. I haven't had much reason to take an extended LoA for awhile.
     
    Ummm the week before April fools sorta but not fully since I was still kinda paying attention to PC occasionally... I suck at LoAs. :x I was offline for at least one full day!!
     
    I really haven't been active at all lately... so I've kinda been on a leave for the last few months. The last I had an official record of a leave was a little while before I stepped down from staff... I wanted to see what it was like without the obligation. Needless to say, I found life easier that way. I do miss it though. ):

    I should try to come on here more often.
     
    I've never taken a leave of absence, and I have no current plans to either. I'm actually surprised a lot of people's real life problems would make them take leaves of absence from the community - my first instinct would be to dive in head first and take solace in it :P

    Does not logging in one morning because I didn't have time before work count as a leave of absence?
     
    The last time i was away from my pc was 2 weeks ago? . Spent my time with my family after that...i took a nose dive into my computer ...hell yeah! :)
     
    My last leave of absence on PC was in October, early November. Basically I had a lot of stuff going on and whilst trying to distract myself I go way to into PC and PC related drama so I left.
    I came back when things got worse though because I really needed a distraction and this place always served as a great one. I was suppose to leave again but I just ended up staying here.
     
    I guess it was technically the period lasting from the end of March to the beginning of April i.e. when I was travelling. But, even then, I'd still log onto PC when I could; I just didn't do so as often as I usually do. The last proper-actually-getting-demoted LoA was at the end of January/beginning of February because of my need to revise for my FINAL SET OF EXAMS EVER EVER EVER! Even then, I still went on PC a bit... but it was decidedly less than usual because the lure of modding/staff stuff was gone.

    The last time I went completely cold turkey from PC was the big-ass 5-and-a-half year absence from October '05 to March '11. That was good. I needed that one! :D
