the past few months have been dynamic for me as far as my personal grooming is concerned. i don't grow a lot of facial hair asis so i'm stuck between shaving and not shaving at any given point, i've been growing my hair longer so that i have more freedom with my hairstyles...

so i'm wondering how you guys like to keep yourselves groomed. give it to me.

I don't brush my hair but it never falls past my ears. I also have a beard that I trim biweekly. I love the "mountain man/beastmode" look.

I shave like everywhere, daily, because my hair grows in so fast. I just can't stand being hairy at all :<

I trim my ends usually about a half inch to an inch every few months. Sometimes I'll get a lot chopped off when my hair grows too long. The longest I ever grew my hair out was down to my hips but the ends became dry, brittle and split due from lack of trimming and insufficient hair care at the time so I chopped it off. I could grow it out to that length again pretty easily but I'm not interested in such high maintenance hair right now, maybe later though~

As for body hair I wax my arms and my legs from time to time, pretty arbitrarily and usually once every month or longer. I do it to keep my skin as silky smooth as possible because that's just how I like it. I could go longer and it would still be pretty imperceptible really. I just do things pretty much on a whim and I don't really have a real 'routine' when it comes to most things.

I like growing my hair so that the front ends hit my eyelashes (as a general guideline for me) so that I can sort of swish it to the right side, which I find strangely comfortable. Hair on the sides of my head I trim because I like to keep my ears clear and not have my hair falling over them.

As far as facial hair goes, I shave like every other day since it grows pretty fast but I'm far too lazy/forget to shave everyday :P

I've let my hair grow out for about three months now. It's pretty long, but I like it that way. I don't plan on getting a haircut anytime soon unless it will improve my look in some way. I can't be fucked to discuss my facial hair right now though. As for elsewhere yes I do shave because body hair makes me uncomfortable.

i stay clean shaven now because i cbf'd to properly maintain a beard. as far as my hair goes i just wake up, scratch my head, then go on about my day.

Unless I have to go out somewhere, I look like one of those shaggy dogs; I'll tie my hair back, but usually that's it. When I have to go out, though, the comb comes out and the painful battle for mastery over my unruly hair begins. I like to be at least presentable, but in the comfort of my own home...it's far too much hassle. I'm a slob, haha.

I haven't cut my hair since the beginning of summer other than one trim. It looks really good after it dries after a shower, but in the mornings it looks bad. Then in the afternoons its really just a mess and looks like absolute crap. I really need to figure out a way to make it look decent throughout the day.

I don't shave my arms and legs because I'm too lazy to do that frequently, as my hair grows really fast, and hair on these places don't bother me much anyway. But when it starts growing on my chest and my face I'll start to shave it.

As for my hair, I don't like keeping it short. The last time I cut it was in the end of the last vacation.

Aside from regular showers/basic hygiene I only really like to brush my hair. I'm old enough to not have to worry about acne for the most part and I like more of a natural look.

I'm starting to grow some suitable stubble that will actually look good if taken care of. My hair both on my head and on my face is quite thin so growing facial hair doesn't necessarily complement my face. Now that it's getting a bit thicker I usually upkeep some light stubble. Otherwise, I opt for clean-shaven which makes me look quite sharp which I'm always a fan of! As long as I look moderately decent then I'm happy. No one likes a gross, awkward, half-grown moustache and facial hair.

I've also stopped biting my nails so they're not so gross-looking. They're actually quite well-groomed and I take pride in them considering I've broken a habit that I've had for 15 years or so now.

top of head: occasionally I'll trim it these days. My hair's a wavy mess and I hate it being short/long so a hairdresser having to touch it up fortnightly would be a needless expense!
face: depends how I feel. 2-3 days before I shave a lot of the time. rarely I'll go 1/4/5 days. almost never more than 5 except if I'm being a total hermit which unfortunately doesn't happen all that much
elsewhere: there is little need to reduce the amount of hair on the rest of my body. it has happened though.

Since I have long hair, I have no choice but to brush it. I brush or comb it every day. I'm growing a beard now - I trim it every so often, but I don't cut it clear off. I also shave my armpits as well since when they first grew in I often picked at them. When I was on the swim team I shaved my legs, but now I don't. Since I'm of Middle Eastern background, I have tons of body hair, although my hair isn't that dark.
