Your shining PC moment

    I'm not usually a fan of these threads, but for some reason I'm really curious. Has there been a moment for you on pc that was really exciting? Something that you either had worked for or worked on or were recognized for?

    I think for myself my most exciting moment was winning member of the year the first year it was held. It was really unexpected for me because no one really knew me and at the time I was really into PC.
     
    getting 8 drama queen emblems in less than 20 seconds
     
    It's hard to pick but I'd definitely say either being promoted to Treehouse mod(twice) or being promoted too Battle Server Staff Admin would be the most exciting thing :^]
     
    when i first became a mod at 13. i was actually trying to become one after i saw some friends get promoted in other sections. i felt super important and powerful

    second time around wasn't as exciting but 13 yo me was so happy, i even told my parents.

    oh yeah, also when my hack won hack of the year in 2006. i don't think i deserved that but then again no one really did back then

    Being mentioned TWICE by gimmie and Crunch Punch in Member of the month thread. BEST achievement ever!
     
    Eh, i've been here so long and achieved nothing, really. I guess being involved in a couple of those Skype things a few years ago was pretty good, though not really an 'achievement'. Similarly, getting my supporter status wasn't an achievement as it was a gift from another member lol

    I need to contribute more, I guess.
     
    becoming friends with shenanigans which is a half-joke: on one hand I'm playing up the bromance contingent of our relationship but on the other hand I am genuinely very happy that we are Pals.

    becoming a mod was also a pretty cool moment. 8)
     
    I think the only shining moment was the GTX. Pretty good group that I was a part of.
     
    When I worked up the courage to post my artwork and not be ashamed of it.
     
    Yeah, I'll echo all the bold blues here and say it was my promotion to moderator. Even though I hadn't been known by many, it still made me feel welcomed to PC and that I had a lot more to contribute to an ever-so growing community.

    Mine is not about promotion.

    Mine is actually opening the PokeCommunity Adoption Center for the first time back in 2011, and I feel very proud that Shawn is still keeping it alive. :')
     
    Getting the Challenges forum started five years ago. It's being taken great care of by a wonderful friend of mine, the regulars are fantastic, and the community in there is great. I'm happy that I could help start something like that, but of course, I'm not going to take all the credit because it wouldn't be a community without said community. They're my shining moment. :) All them lil Swablu. <3
