    I'm not sure if this is in the right place, but since it is entertainment in one way or another...

    Google To Buy Youtube for 1.65 billion!

    Heck, that's a ton of money o.o; Google's going to become an internet monopoly at this rate; Google Video won't be needed anymore XD Do you think Youtube will turn out different after this? I hope not...
     
    Hopefully now that Google owns Youtube, maybe they can put back those Pokemon clips that they removed because of violation... but then again maybe they wont...
     
    A ton of money it may seem, but some people actually view that as a bargain.

    Anyway, YouTube will still be operating as an independent unit of Google. Google is now officially the pwner of the internet.
     
    Good deal for youtube, financial security they badly needed.
     
    Lol, I think Youtube won't change because of this. It's better than Google Video and I think that's why they bought it.
     
    I heard bout this on the news. Now Google owns Google Videos AND Youtube. Youtube is ace since it only started last year... I think
     
    If I were Youtube's owner, definitively I wouldn't sold it. Surely I could make more profit having it xD
     
    Then again, there could have been other reasons for buying it. The owners aren't strangers to lawsuits, and I guess they could turn their feeding up in for a few stock options.
