that was removed? good. it should have never been done to begin with.I took a while for it to roll out, but it's a signification improvement from the old design. It manages to make the player more touch-friendly and allow for more room for the video, which are both changes that YouTube has been dying for. With this and the removal of Google+ integration, it seems like YouTube is changing for the better.
That's because YouTube doesn't use Flash for videos anymore. They now utilize HTML5 for video playback.well, now my flash player doesn't crash when i put up youtube while playing aqw.
my point exactly. its easier for my pc to use 2 different breeds of video players then it is for it to you 2 of the same type simultaneously. That's because YouTube doesn't use Flash for videos anymore. They now utilize HTML5 for video playback.
Yes and no. While they utilize HTML5 for videos as default, the flash player still acts as a fail safe. There are quite a good amount of videos, especially newly uploaded ones, that aren't completely processed, so in order to still be watchable, they just switch when the video reaches the point, where it's not completely converted. Also, I somewhat have the feeling, it happens more on Linux, than it does on Windows. At least for me it does, anyway. That's because YouTube doesn't use Flash for videos anymore.
