    Machamp @ Leftovers
    Trait: Guts
    EVs: 196 HP / 252 Atk / 60 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Rock Slide
    - Facade
    - Cross Chop
    - Bulk Up

Bulk Up + Cross Chop on Machamp, can do major damage to any poke. Sweeps Brandon's team easily.

    Celebi @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP / 196 SDef / 60 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Calm Mind
    - Substitute
    - Baton Pass
    - HP Grass

Passes CM's to Starmie. HP Grass is to kill fags like swampert which is seen in Dome Ace Tuckers team.

    Starmie @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Thunderbolt
    - Recover
    - Surf
    - Ice Beam

Standard special sweeper. Powerful as hell in-game.

how many spikers do you see in the battle frontier? not many. good day to you, lugialord.

i dont think you can even encounter a skarmory in the battle frontier.

i dont think you can even encounter a skarmory in the battle frontier.

Actually, there is one Skarm in the frontier. It's Spikes/Toxic/Whirlwind/Substitute, I think. And then there's a sucky one with Counter/Curse/Steel Wing/Something, but they're not really worth carrying a spinner for.

Anyways, I'd suggest Psychic (Or even Giga Drain) over Hidden Power [Grass] on Celebi since your chances of getting a high power Hidden Power are diminutive. Tucker's Pert can still rape your Celebi, though, since it's got a Focus Band and knows both Counter and Mirror Coat. :\ Oh, and you aren't allowed to have the same item on many pokémon in the frontier, so I'd say switch Machamp's Leftovers for a Choice Band and replace Bulk Up with a physical move of your choice, or possibly Sleep Talk. Dunno what item you could give Starmie, though. Maybe even something crappy like Shell Bell would do, or possibly a Petaya Berry if you can get one. Oh, and I'd say Recover over Substitute on Celebi, relying solely on Leftovers for healing a passer is kind of lol.

Well, I guess that solved his problem with Celebi.

    Yeah, CBchamp, go with that.

I believe you can use Celebi because it's only a legendary. They only disable Ubers and Eggs. Because I tried to use Regice and it worked. So yeah...

But they classify Celebi/Jirachi as ubers iirc...
Smogon/PokeRealm don't but Nintendo very well might

You are wrong again. Here is a list of the Pokes not allowed in the Battle Frontier:

    Mewtwo
    Mew
    Lugia
    Ho-oh
    Celebi
    Kyogre
    Groudon
    Rayquaza
    Jirachi
    Deoxys

For BF, I'll just use their own pokes builds (look in the factory) to pwn them, e.g:

    Registeel (Adamant) 252HP/252AT
    Chesto Berry
    -Curse
    -Amnesia
    -Rest
    -Metal Claw
(This is my favorite as it stalls forever while doing good damage...)

    Electrode (Naughty) 252AT/252SA
    Liechi Berry
    -Explosion
    -Thunderbolt
    -Endure
    -Thunder Wave
    (This is for LOL)

    Crobat (Calm) 168HP/168Def/168Sdef
    Leftovers
    -Giga Drain
    -Double Team
    -Confuse Ray
    -Toxic
(Don's ask me WTF, but I know it works against people who aren't prepared!)

    Skarmory (Careful) 168HP/168Atk/168Sdef
    Bright Powder
    -Spikes
    -Roar
    -Drill Peck
    -Toxic
(Sort of a game-wrecker, annoying as hell...)

And here is the REAL game-wrecking set the AI uses, but VERY, VERY rarely, I've only seen this 3 times in the Factory, out of like 500 I've seen in there:

    Gardevoir (IMPISH!!!) 168HP/168Def/168Spd
    Leftovers
    -Body Slam
    -Wish
    -Imprison
    -Shadow Ball

It doesn't sound like much, but there is nothing you can do about it, and there is almost no way you can 1HKO it, unless you waste a turn with Hyper Beam etc. It'll use Imprison first if you have Shadow Ball or Body Slam (the AI knows, it cheats), making you waste a turn, and then paralyze you with Body Slam, Wish to stall, and cut your HP with Shadow Ball... This only appears in the Factory, and the only way you can get it is by swapping.

I honestly feel sorry for those Pokes. How stupid does a game designer have to be not to know those movesets totally suck?

    ~*^*~~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~~*^*~

They make up for their suckiness with their major luckhaxiness.

    =\

What does this have to do with the thread!? Anyway, this team sucks badly. Body Slam on Gardevior is roflmfao. Sorry these team wont last in Battle Frontier for long, dude.

No, I mean thats the move sets the AI uses all the time (except the last one), it's just utter WTFness.

My point is that the AI in the battle frontier so wreck the game with their most utterly randomly random sets, but just those random sets can catch you off guard sometimes, because THEY CHEAT (they know what pokemon you have on your team, and they know every single move you have)... well you are playing against the COMPUTER after all, and they are just smarter than you (most of the time)...

However, that Registeel goes a long way in the frontier though, because they almost NEVER use Roar or Whirlwind, and they don't have Haze as a part of their move sets AT ALL...

So what if they know what Pokemon are on your teams, it's not like they are going to swap their pokemon just to counter yours. They computers goddamit. Computers don't have a brain.

Metal Claw is crap. Swap it for Superpower or something.
zomgzomgzomgzomgzomg this team is utter wtfness

Duh!!! But they fcuking know how to counter every one of your guy and they know exactly how much damage (in HP) every move is going to do, while you don't! And they always hit a critical when you least want it to happen, save for their bloody 1HKO's and Quick Claws/Focus Bands!

Think about this: How many times did you see a computer pokemon fails to set up sweepers or stallers and get KO'ed while Cursing/Sword Dancing/DDing etc? (Very rarely unless it's against your apprentice or when you hit a critical) That happens to players ALL THE TIME because if the AI can't handle it, their QC/FB/Shiny powder kicks in, or they'll simply KO you with a critical!

So, conclusion: The AI cheats, period.

If you still don't believe me, explain these: Why does Snatch fail 90% of the time when you use it against them, while it never failed once should they use it? And why do you lose when you KO their last guy with Explosion with your last guy, while they win doing that?

(The BF is a place for a CHALLENGE of course everything goes in their favor!)

It's SO NOT in the BF!

Superpower has only 5 PP's while MC has 35... Those bloody AI pokemons are good at nothing except stalling and wasting up your PP with things like Dusclops (pressure) + Protect. (They know exactly when to use it, don't forget!)
Mind you, you don't have access to PP Up's in the BF, especially in the Factory! So 1 Spite, your only attacking move's PP is all gone!
Also MC hits EVERY type, SP doesn't hit Dusclops, which is a hell of a pain in the BF.

Ok, listen up. The AI does cheat sometimes but if you EV train your pokemon and breed them for IV's and perfect natures and put the right movesets on them, then you'll have no trouble beating the battle frontier. (except for the factory maybe) The major haxiness of the BF is no match for well-prepared and strong team.

Ok, if you dont fcuking wanna use superpower then at least get something better, such as EQ, which is better than Metal Claw in any game, in-game or not. Stop acting like a nub. Add PP-Ups to EQ before you enter any of the facilities.

Maybe, you should quit acting like a nub and start listening to people better than you. ^_____________^
