chicken or egg

Personally i believe this is a discussion of your religious beliefs;
-If you believe in evolution you will say that the egg came first because genetic mutations take place during the spliting of the chromsomes, during meosis, thus when the sperm and egg join and a zygote forms it is neather species that bred it but the egg is a different species.
-If you believe in creationism you will say that the chicken came first becuase what warmed the egg?
Well, let the verbal war began..
