This is the OOC thread/Headquarters for: "Pokémon Revolution: Operation I&D!"
Missions will/might be given here, and other ooc discussions are to be held as well.
The Pokémon world is in peril!
The Pokémon world used to be such a beautiful place too… you remember it, right? Like in the anime. Most kids had either one or no parents, but didn't even give thought to the case, and no mother out there was crazy enough NOT to let their ten-year-olds travel the world by foot. As a matter of fact, the closest thing to evil they had back then was… well, Team Rocket, and that doesn't even compare to burglary.
But now things have changed. Pokémon trainers, who actually COULD beat little kids in battle, finally stood up to take what (wasn't theirs at the moment, but…) might as well BE theirs. They called themselves 'The Monarchy', and they single-handedly took out all competition from in front of them: Teams Rocket, Magma, Aqua, and Galaxy, as well as all Gyms, the Elite Four (they're like 18 all in all), Master Coordinators etc.
No one was left to challenge their power, and The Monarchy reached its goal of ruling the world in a little over a year. They took down the government, and increased taxes to augment their own wealth. Crime rose to unbelievable levels, and Pokémon were confiscated.
It wasn't long before a resistance was formed, but their attempts to take down the government were promptly quelled by the 'Eight Elite', who then became generals of vast armies in each of the eight main regions. But what they didn't manage to quell was the vengeful spirit of a lot.
The resistance was able to regroup and rise again, this time disguised as a crime-fighting organization: 'The Golden Fist'. Although The Monarchy's small task forces RARELY prosecute them, they generally don't garner much attention to themselves, and have two main motives: to maintain peace in the small communities, and to house the underground operation: I&D (Meaning Unknown).
Now, anywhere you look The Monarchy is attaining more and more power over the land. Factories are increasing in drastic numbers, and the forests are disappearing, the seas and the sky are being over-polluted, and volcanic activity is at an all-time high.
No one knows for certain what The Sovereign is planning, or why he is allowing the world to rot at such a pace, but everyone can feel an ominous presence getting closer and closer.
Even through the strong grip with which the Sovereign holds tight his possessions, Operation I&D, has plagued the hopes and dreams of the citizens everywhere, and has managed to form underground headquarters scattered around each region.
Now, The Golden Fist is ready to finally unleash… Operation: I&D!
How do you fit in?
Recently, a soldier of The Monarchy walked in to your hometown, and posted up a list with names of people who were recruited to the army… and you're on the list. Luckily, you know someone who directs you to The Golden Fist, and they offer you shelter from The Monarchy in exchange of your complete cooperation with Operation: I&D.
The operation consists of several individual or cooperative missions to:
• Take over cities or towns
• Locate special items that are needed for the good of the mission
• Special events (such as: explode a cave)
• Escort important people
• Battle officers
• Raid Monarchy camps
• Stand-by (Capture Pokémon, learn special secrets, etc.)
• Other type of missions??? (Don't know yet)
• FINAL MISSION, THE RAID OF…! (Haha! Did you think I'd let you know the end so early?)
Tip: Please, when you're fighting, do cheat as often as possible (both you and your opponent), it's a war
After completing each mission you will be rewarded with:
• Money $o$
• Rare Items (Maybe) $o$
If you steal someone else's Pokémon…
• Pokémon (If I'm in a good mood AND impressed by your post, otherwise it'll run
away)
Missions:
• Missions will be given out individually to each role player.
• Each mission will have a minimum number of posts required depending on its
difficulty.
• The minimum number is to be spent writing only about the mission.
• You may also write a maximum of two posts additionally to either work more in-depth on the mission (and consequently get better rewarded), or catch/train
Pokémon.
• I am the Game Master. I am both the Head of the resistance, and God in this RP, and as such have the power to either fire you, kill you, or drop such a massive poop on top of you that you'll die (a different manner of killing you).
• I will give each of you individual missions, which you are to complete.
• In these missions, I will tell you who you fight, what Pokémon you can catch, whether or not you caught them as well as their: Level, Gender, and Nature.
• In case you fight someone, I'll tell you if you Pokémon leveled up, what moves they learn, and when their ready for evolution.
• I'm also in charge of what items you find, so please don't post that you received an egg or something similar because God WILL poop such a massive poop that it WILL die (whether it's alive or not).
• Don't godmod or bunny, please. Remember the golden rule.
• Follow ALL PC rules (feel free to revise them)
• One of my major pet peeves is when people make their Pokémon use moves they wouldn't normally have, PLEASE don't do this.
• Three strikes and you're out (unless it's a massive strike in which case I'll count it as a tip and catch).
• You may have fun if you want to…
• To make sure you read the rules, write: "drunks like poop" in the extra section of your sign-up.
Use the respective starters for the region you're from. No Pichus / Pikachus or Eevees.

Also, I'll tell you their gender, nature, and whether they're shiny or not (give me five numbers between 1 and 100 for this)
Do this every time you INTEND to catch a wild Pokémon.
Whenever you try to catch a wild Pokémon, please (let me rephrase that) PLEASE don't take it for granted that you will catch it. Your posts have to be at least good (decent doesn't cut it) if you intend to catch one. Remember, you're trying to impress me for extra points (better level). The Pokémon you catch will be the result of how well you wrote your post, so better is always better.
(Tip: I will choose a Pokémon's nature by how they battle. For example, if a Nidoran uses nothing but Growl, he/she will have a Serious nature)
This also applies to experience gaining.
If you catch a Pokémon, your Pokémon doesn't gain any experience either.
