How many forum members does it takes to change a light bulb?

1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs
1 to move it to the Lighting section
2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section
7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs
5 to flame the spell checkers
    3 to correct spelling/grammar flames
6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"
15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct
19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum
11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum
36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty
7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs
4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's
3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group
13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"
5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy
4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"
1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.

Haha, I found this here, I didn't write it. I just thought it was funny. They also have some other funny stuff. It is kinda a site about mircosoft and all their bugs.

Yeah I hate microsoft. I also hate sony. I LOVE Nintendo!!!

Sony is okay, but they tend to over-price things. Microsoft is dumb, the only reason I use it is because all my games are conpatible with it. Like the Sims (First one) and Zoo Tycoon. They have 1,000's of bugs, and my computer locks up a lot, and can run slow. I'd use apple if my software was compatible and if I knew it better. A lot better. Same with Lynx. Nintendo is alright, but they are WAY over priced. $50 for a game?? That is crazy!

…XD Gold. Sounds especially fitting of PC, really. That's awesome, and yet at the same time sad cause it's true. XP

Lmfao, I was very amused by that. We could add a PC spin and say like, "20 members to report the same post for random reasons." =X It happens.

1 to move it to the Lighting section
x3 I swear I thought you were talking about me for a second, lmao.

*moves that we add a Lightning section to the boards*
We should dress it up for PC! =3 *goes off to think about that* XD

=x It could be like... a shrine to me. <3 I'm all for it. When do we start?

We really *do* need to make the PC equivalent to this, though.

    XD *Adds more.*
1 to reply saying not to bump old threads.
1 saying sweetie, please don't revive the thread, but contributes to the thread. *I wonder who could that be. XD*
4 posting something off the topic
1 posting saying the thread is gona be locked.

THIS THREAD IS GONNA BE LOCKED!!!

Lol. Yeah...We do need a PC version of this...Ummm...

1 to flame the starter of the thread for impropor punctuation...
6 to point out that grammar doesn`t matter online.
2 to say that it does
1 to laugh because of what he started with the whole grammar argument...

And 2 mods to take the lightbulb topic and an hour later be talking about flirting.

Yeah, like Kairi said, funny, but it's true, so it's hard to laugh at without feeling guilty. I'm kinda doing it now, aren't I.

Thats awesome! It's true to....but you might want to add...

1 to compliment the thread and say nothing else and mention nothing of light bulbs
3 members to come and flame the idea of light bulbs saying florescent is better
1 member to complain that "A thread like this already exists noob!"
    5 to talk about pokemon
5 to dis pokemon and get banned

    and thas it...?

    BOO ya!

    xD Too true, JK.

But this lightbulb thread wouldn't be in the mod lounge. :<
    We've gone OT elsewhere. :P
1 to compliment the thread and say nothing else and mention nothing of light bulbs
    Sooo true.

"36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty"

That one is great. I dunno why, but it's reminded me of myself.

I'm all for that idea. *takes out blueprints that he's started in advance*

XD so true of any board, for some reason this made me think of the gfaqs forums in general.

That is soo funny and soo true... but it relates to nearly any forum - that's the beauty of it. There are people who'll really do everything on that. I'd be the one that would share similar experiences of changing light bulbs... Also - I counted 179 people post in that thread... so it must have been popular. And there really should be a PC version of this. Should we start one and see where it goes?
