ImageTweak [Recommended by Mozilla]

Tab Mix Plus
Tab Mix Plus enhances Firefox's tab browsing capabilities. It includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs and windows, plus much more. It also includes a full-featured session manager.

Gspace
This extension allows you to use your Gmail Space (2 GB) for file storage. It acts as a remote machine. You can transfer files between your hard drive and gmail. This is similar to "Gmail Drive" on windows platform. Your gmail account looks like a FTP host and you can upload and download your files. After you install, you get an option called "GSpace" in your "tools" menu clicking on which opens the window for transfer of files/folders

Fasterfox [Experimental]
Performance and network tweaks for Firefox. Fasterfox allows you to tweak many network and rendering settings such as simultaneous connections, pipelining, cache, DNS cache, and initial paint delay. A popup blocker for pop ups initiated by Flash plug-ins is also included.

Perapera-kun: Japanese Popup Translator 1.0
Popup Japanese Translator. Modded from Rikai-chan and uses the EDICT dictionary. Allows you to see the pronunciation and English meaning of Japanese words when you place your mouse over them.

Video DownloadHelper
Great little addon here. Basically just goto a site like YouTube and play a video. Then right click on some empty space on the page and you'll see a DownloadHelper menu. Scroll to it and it'll list the video your watching, and you can download it. This works on a variety of other sites too.

EditCSS
This a useful addon which let's you see the CSS of the page you are viewing and you can edit the CSS and see what the page looks like with your modification/s.

CSSViewer
If you want to know some useful CSS tricks, then this addon is useful. You first activate it in the Tools menu and then if you hover over an element on a webpage it will display it's elements. For example, if I hover over the quick reply box, it displays: font-family, font-size, line-height, verticle-align, background-color, background-position, height, width, border, margin, display and cursor.

FireShot
FireShot is a Firefox extension that creates screenshots of web pages (entirely or just visible part). Unlike other extensions, this plugin provides a set of editing and annotation tools, which let users quickly modify web captures and insert text annotations and graphical annotations. Such functionality will be especially useful for web designers, testers and content reviewers.

Pencil
Pencil is a Firefox add-on to do GUI prototyping and simple sketching Firebug
Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of web development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page.

Stylish
Stylish allows easy management of user styles. User styles empower your browsing experience by letting you fix ugly sites, customize the look of your browser or mail client, or just have fun. With an online repository at userstyles.org, you don't even need to know how to write styles yourself; just a couple clicks and the chosen style is applied. Stylish is to CSS what Greasemonkey is to JavaScript, and unlike other methods of using user styles, most styles take effect immediately.

Greasemonkey
Allows you to customize the way a webpage displays using small bits of JavaScript.

AutoPager
This addon will load up the next page on a huge variety of sites. It is also programmable on sites it doesn't detect it on, for those who know what they're doing.

Extended Copy Menu
Provides the option to copy selection as plain text or html. (Contributed by twocows)

Long URL Please
Replaces short urls with the originals so you can see where links actually link to. (Contributed by twocows)

SkipScreen
Skips unnecessary pages on sites like Rapidshare, Megaupload, zShare, Mediafire, and others. (Contributed by twocows)

Reminder Fox
ReminderFox displays and manages lists of date-based reminders and ToDo's. Not exactly a calendar, but better. (Contributed by twocows)

Colorzilla
Eyedropper and colourpicker. comes in handy when you see a color you like and you want the HEX code for it. (Contributed by Baromega)

Zotero
Zotero [zoh-TAIR-oh] is a free, easy-to-use Firefox extension to help you collect, manage, and cite your research sources. (Contributed by Red1530)

Web of Trust
Web of Trust warns you about risky sites that cheat customers, deliver malware or send spam. Millions of members of the WOT community rate sites based on their experience, giving you an extra layer of protection when browsing or searching the Web. (Contributed by Red1530)

Open Download
Allows you to open any file from the internet into the OS assigned program. This is similar to IE's 'Open' or 'Run' file download functionality. (Contributed by Red1530)

I recommend this for any FF user. It's basically an eyedropper for FF and comes in handy when you see a color you like and you want the HEX code for it.

This only works if the download server is the bottleneck, which might be the case if you have a fast connection.

How come nobody has talked about Snap Links?
It's one of the best I can think of, besides Firebug, which has already been listed. Snaplinks opens multiple tabs at the same time! Useful for GPX+.

Can't you accomplish the same thing by just ctrl+left clicking a few different links? I based that on your description, since I couldn't find one on the addon's page. Also, it's not htto://, it's http://.

it's firedownload. It's great for people who download zip type files all the time, It actually does super charge them, I download from mediafire all the time and get possibly 200-500 and I can get up to 1.1 mbs or 1,000 kbps. It seems to make .exes not work, but It's great for zips. I'd recommend it to anyone :D
