A Shared Project: Creating a new Sinnoh League

Hi everyone, I'm Kyuu-chan. "Creating a new Sinnoh League" is an idea of mine that everyone is welcome to participate in. I'm bringing this event to the forum for two main reasons:

(1) You can get creative.
(2) I'm going to use some of the Gyms & Elite Four members created here in "Black Genesis", the third and final part in my fan-fiction trilogy (which will not be posted on PC for quite some time, as I have yet to finish "Apocalyptic Dawn"). I will also give credit to whoever makes them.

Below is the necessary template you must use.

These are the ESSENTIAL things; there are many other small details you can add to your Gym such as Gym puzzles and other things.

Pictures and levels must be included for all of the Pokémon. On the Gym Leader's Pokémon a moveset, picture, and level is required.

Once all 8 Gyms are decided, the Elite 4 will be decided as well. I will be making the Champion Battle. The templates for the Elite 4 Sign Up will be posted later.

Level Ranges

These ranges applies to the leader's Pokémon only, the Gym trainer's Pokémon levels are roughly 4 levels lower than the Leader's lowest level Pokémon, but that's really up to you. Obviously, your going to have a smaller range of numbers than these do, I'm simply stating what the lowest acceptable level and the highest acceptable levels are.

Keep these dates in mind if you want a specific Gym or Elite Four member. Each round starts and closes at 3:30 p.m. Australian time on the day posted; you have 3 days to make a Gym.

I have a suggestion for your champion's typing.


Weaker legendaries, i.e. Shaymin,3 birds,3 dogs,Latias,etc.

That's nice of you to suggest the Champion's Pokemon types, Lance (UFA), but a friend and I had already decided the types of Pokemon she would have.

Please people, this thread is not the same as Maci12's. His is about his hack, mine is about my fan-fiction. There is a difference.

Edit: Seeing as how no-one's bothered to help me, Gym 1's closing time will be extended by 3 days.

Actually, it is pretty much the same. That's why no one is helping. I did post a gym, but I deleted the post.

I think the reason no ones helping is because of the way you have the date set up. To me it looks like the first gyms not opening for another three months, when in reality it's been open for two days. I, and I think most other people on PC, are used to the MM/DD/YYYY format rather then the DD/MM/YYYY format. It sort of confused me at first too.

Minator Ninja - Thank you for the comment. If the way we Australians do things confuses everyone else, then you may think of it as the other way around, if you want to.

So this is like that other thread, right? Well, I would love to give it a shot!

But wait a second. If this is in Sinnoh, as implied, doesn't that mean you just use the regular gyms? what, i'm confused.

It would take you too long to read my fic, so I'll give you a quick run-down.

2007 = Sinnoh was practically obliterated.

Work on rebuilding the region was so tediously slow.

2012 = Rebuiling the cities and townships was kicked into the final gear...

2013 = The Chosen and the new Sinnohian royal family, the Mercurias, fixed everything and this thread is based on the rebuilt region's need for new Gym Leaders and Elite Four.

Why does Sinnoh need authority, you ask?

Gym design: This is a lot like Misty's gym in HG/SS. It is a big swimming pool, and you can go straight around it to find the gym leader on the end of the pool. Or, you can go through a platform, and battle the two trainers.
Gym Leader: Sapphire is a little girl, who's daddy has a lot of money. She wears a blue dress, like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, but also wears huge, blue jewelry, which is way to big for her.

Gym Leader: Ruby loves to party and have a good time. He looks like your common college student. Young, tall, and handsome, with short, scruffy hair, looking at him you wouldn't even think he liked Fire-types. Though, he can really pack a punch!

Gym sign: Become one with nature, since you are about to face Emerald!
Gym design: This gym is much like the Eterna Gym. It is a huge forest, and you must find your way through, battling trainers, until you meet Emerald. Although, if you take a wrong path, and you can barely see where you are going, you will face Beedrill. They wont be strong, only an annoyance.
Gym Leader: Emerald is a woman a lot like Cynthia. She is elegant and beautiful, yet she is a powerful and proud person. Also, she looks very similar to her, but of course, being a Grass-type Pokemon Trainer, she wears nature tones.
