Shall I remove my full name from my site?

    heya everyone,

    my site has my real name on it i mean my full real name so shall i remove it?
    Since theres a lot of stalkers lately.

    If you're questioning it at all, then yeah, you should probably just remove it if it makes you uncomfortable. Personally, I wouldn't put my full, real name on a website like that.

    You just never know. :/
     
    You can use your first name if you wish but never give out info such as address, full name, phone number, etc.
     
    You can if you want, but it doesn't matter since we all have it.... :badsmile:

    But really, it is best on the internet to use a handle/username/pseudonym that has no relation to your name. If you have friends in real life on a web site, you can tell them your username so it's fine. Why would you want a bunch of random people to know your real name?

    I wish I would have done that long ago, some people have already gathered who knows how much information on me. All because I slipped a few things....
     
    I love my full name and I've announced it many times.
    I don't have anyone "out to get me."
    And I'm aware of stranger danger.
    Unless I do something to provoke someone to "come after me" or "stalk me" I don't see why I should be too worried.

    But that's just me.
    If you don't feel comfortable with your personal information posted, take it off.
     
    Do as you please. If it does bother you, just remove. I personally don't think it'd get you in troubles, though
     
    my opinion is... i dont really care ^_*. but noticing how young you are(im assuming the age you have on here is correct), its better to be safe then sorry :P. if i were you though, i would removed my name. i wouldnt be comfortable sharing my information out to the world.

    Well, I'm a pretty secretive person, in real life and on here, so I wouldn't even put my first name.

    But obviously, you can put your first name. I'd take down your last name though, just to be safe.
     
    If I were you, I would, but with all the social networking out there most people can already find it... Example, this guy from PC added me on MSN, and he's trying to be cool or something and creep me out and he said my real name (on my facebook linked to my MSN email) and though I really didn't care because anyone could find it, it was pretty weird and creeperish... and the fact that someone would actually take the effort to even find the name of someone who they just met doesn't make sense to me but it shows that people will try to find your personal information for whatever reason.

    tl;dr: Keep it hidden but be aware people can find it in other ways too, and for some strange reason they actually will go lengths to find it.
