Title obviously one of the most famous Chicago songs :P So I wrote a thread on whether there was anyone you'd do absolutely anything for, but this one is different ;3 Who/what inspires you? What keeps you going on or what keeps you motivated and going? Maybe an artistic muse? *shrugs :P

As for myself. I don't really have one in particular xD I just kind of look at the people that I consider stars and look up to them :P Or I'll hold onto my goals of becoming a good father <3

Depends on what I'm doing. Greasy hair inspires me to hop in the shower, bladder sensations inspire me to go to the bathroom, sticky fingers inspire me to wash my hands, bad breath inspires me to brush my teeth. Creatively, music and literature inspire me. People and characters inspire me to better myself.

Anything around me can inspire me.

Sometimes even a conversation over MSN can be inspiring. You never know what's around the corner for you. Therefore, there is nothing/no one in particular that inspires me. But that doesn't mean that it can't change; I believe that when I have a family then my family will inspire me on most things. That is all.

I just realized I'm on a posting spree on OVP. Lol going to bed right now

I have a dream. My dream is to see change in this backwards planet that is Earth, to cause change, to be apart of change. The world is broken, and I want to fix it. Or at least try my best.

It might seem like a long-shot, but then again, I'm pretty damn stubborn. >:)

That is, of course, my main, long-term inspiration. Other things here and there are always going to give me little bouts of inspiration and all that, but this is the reason that I can never truly give up.

My parents and teachers inspire me to stay motivated and to keep trying until I succeed.

A lot of things around me inspire me. Of course.

But specific people motivate/inspire/etc. me.
Kim Petras & Sharon Cohen (also known as Dana International) inspire me for following their dreams and not letting people get in the way of being who they want to be and succeeding in a harsh world.
Also two former bands "Lady" and "Venus Flytrap" for pretty much the same reason as above, the members fought through the crowds to be themselves and do what they wanted to do instead of being pushed into little boxes that other people wanted to do.

Also a lot of my friends inspire me just for being themselves and stuff and I like to look to all these people for ideas and stuff~

Well, a lot of things inspire me, books are one of the main one, anime, music also play their own parts in my life. People don't really inspire me much seeing as I want to be different, and of course I'll take bits of peoples ideas/mentalities so I can form my own unique one that I'm satisfied with.

I draw inspiration from practically everywhere, but I think I get it mostly from my friends. My second biggest sources are probably music and (though it might seem a bit silly) fictional characters.

As far as artistic muses go, I really admire artists younger than myself who are skilled beyond their years. I used to get very intimidated by them, but now I choose to be proud that an artist such as myself was able to achieve that kind of skill by such a young age. Because of them I will never waste a single second looking down on myself; rather, I will spend my time doing what I love and (hopefully) improving while I do it.

what keeps me going?
my dream, or goal, of becoming someone great. in particular, someone like leonardo da vinci. now that's a man of inspiration. he was called a "renaissance man" for the reason that he could do so many things so well.
well, that's my goal. to be good at so many things.
i know people nowadays think it's impossible, seeing as we're only "human", but leonardo da vinci was a testament to how far our potential as human beings can go.

[css-span="font-family: "Tahoma"; font-size: 11px; color: #4b373d;"]There are two main things that drive me forward. One is the thought of one day joining the gods on CG Mount Olympus over in Cali and what kind of CG goddess I'll turn out to be once I'm there. The other is the man I mentioned in your other thread (and pretty well most threads I post in for that matter). He truly is my artistic muse, and just thinking of him makes me want to get up and create.

Inspiration for me can come from a lot of things, though. Music and nature are strong triggers of ideas, too, and of course the professional artists out there that I one day hope to join. Trying to fall asleep tends to result in a flow of thoughts and ideas instead. Ideas can happen anytime, anywhere, and come from anything, though. It's magical :3[/css-span]
