Ok so I started making animated pokemon like they are in Pokemon Black and White and since some people might like to have there pokemon animated in that style in their fangame, i decided to make a tutorial on how I make mine.
Here it is.

Easy, but good for beginners :)

Yes I made it easy like that for that very reason. I figured I could lend some of my experience to some people starting with pokemon games

But um... What did you use to rotate the sprite parts freely and clearly?

There is no way to do that(with sprites that is). The only way to make that look okay with this method is to rotate/scale/etc your part in question, ideally with "interpolation" turned off (so it doesn't antialias the edits), and then fix it up manually afterwards.
But, um... With what program?

Gimp is what I used to use. It's basically a free photoshop alternative.

The free version of ASEsprite works amazing for this as well.(well so does the paid version obviously...but everything you need is in the free version at least). If you do use it, here's a great step by step tutorial on doing just this in the program - http://dragondeplatino.deviantart.com/art/Pokemon-BW-Animation-Style-Tutorial-344596875

Thanks, I appriciate it. ^^
