    In the blink of an eye,
    I can disappear.
    Some wonder why,
    And no it's not fear.

    I melt with society,
    With my thoughts to myself.
    No one can see me,
    For I move with such stealth.

    You may wonder why,
    I don't just come out.
    Out of my shell,
    And back onto my route.

    Eyes looking through me,
    Straight through to my soul.
    I feel so constricted,
    I cannot play this role.

    "Just be yourself",
    Is a phrase I have heard.
    But I don't believe it,
    Not one word.

    Before anyone notices,
    I am gone with the wind.
    I give no farewells,
    They too are locked within.

    I see no one cares,
    I see no one minds.
    But your love for me,
    Becomes the tie that binds.    ​

    Weeee, I got another one for you! ^o^ Well, this one is kind of a fun one, even though it's a bit sad, I still like it. Enjoy everyone! ^_____^

    As usual, great poem Kelsey! I really enjoyed reading it and actully read it a few more times to get a better feel of the meaning. The line "Just be yourself", really meant a lot to me, because at times when you want to be yourself, its hard in certain situations.

    Great job all around, I loved the overall flow and poem itself, excellent job.

    When I tried to PM you it said that your PM box was full, so it didn't go through ^^'.

    O.O Very nice and beautiful tone to it. You know, there's BARELY any good poems around, (reason why I don't go much to the poetry forum) but this is unlike any I ever read before. Very emotional, I could feel a familiar streak to it. Good job, sug ^^

    Thanks Suz! ^_____^ I'm thinking of putting all my poems into one authorized book once I'm older. It'll be like my side-job to being a Veteranarian. ^_~
