Hey guys, just found this forum today while searching Pokemon to use for my Gold Rom. Didn't notice you had to post here first and I made some posts in other threads, apologies moderators. I'm 16 and from Australia. Anyway, nice to meet everyone!

    Hey ther HSV15, and welcome to PC! My name is Zach, and it's a pleasure in getting to know you! {:3}

Nah, it's not mandatory to post in here, but it's a great way for yourself to get to know the members here! =D And post as much as you want, or as little as you want! Lots of people have post counts here that are beyond the sky if you ask me! xD And like you, we have many Australians here!

Anyways, be sure to look around PC as we have lots to offer in Pokémon discussions! And we also offer off-topic sections as well, and forum games too! Do you have any sections you may need help in?

As a reminder, please be sure to look over the forum rules, though so that you don't get into any trouble.. the last thing we want to see of a new member is them getting an infraction just by not simply following a small and simple rule :(

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in asking anyone around here on staff (users with the bold usernames), and they'd be more than glad to help you out anytime! :)

Hope you enjoy your stay here at PC, HSV15! You are always more than welcome to send me a friend request, or leave a VM on my profile and or send me a PM whenever you wish to chat with me! ^_^

    HEY YEA! Welcome to PC!

Nope, not required to make an intro, but it's a nice way to say hi and introduce yourself to the community. :) Plus that way, people like me can welcome you too! There's lots of friendly members who love to welcome new users. :) And no it's isn't required to make post either. We do block you from linking URLs and images until you get 15 posts , but don't worry about getting that right away. Take as much time as you need to do that and to make posts. There's people thousands of post in a short amount of time and there's people who only have a few hundred so don't feel pressured to post a ton. Just come here and post whenever you can. :) I think you'll like this community though, cause we have lots of Australians here. And most people are nice so you'll fit in greatly.

Though I do recommend browsing the forum though. That way you can get acquainted with the sections here. It's good to see you've found alot of section already. I also recommend Emulations & ROM Hacking if you're into playing ROM hacks. I'm not sure what you mean by getting Pokemon, but if that means that you're getting resources for a game you can do that there. There's sections on tutorials and resources and you can find those there. If you building a team, you really can't that there, but you can always discuss hacks there. Of course browse other sections too! You can find a section on just about any thing for Pokemon and even off-topic thing such as anime and technology.

Well, see you around! Have an extraordinary time. Post as much as time allows it and I hope you can try your best to stick around, but remember, no one will yell at you if you don't post for a day or so. :) The moderators will always be here to help you with anything so don't be scared to ask anything. :) Hope to chat with you sometime!

Cheers for the kind welcomes guys. Having browsed the forum this afternoon I actually wasn't inclined to register, until it came up saying 'Porygon is broken' or something lol and that I had to be a member while the server was full or something. So I thought, 'Heck, why not'. I'm glad I chose to sign up.

AWsquared, sorry for the confusion! I just recently downloaded a Gold rom and searched up some good teams to use throughout the story.

See you around the forum guys ;) !

Hi there and welcome to PC

Well there isnt much to add since if i did, i prolly would say the same (read the rules, ask a moderator if you have trouble, etc.)
Anyways i hope you have fun and i see you around.

Oh and if you wanna chat, VM/PM me ^_^

Yeah, members get the most out of this place so joining is always a wonderful choice. PC generally gets a lot of traffic so we sadly had to limit unregistered members, but luckily joining takes under a minute and gives you full access to everything. :) Welcome!

Oh, so you were looking for team help with your Gold game? The best place to get help with teams is in the Battle Center so I'd recommend poking around there. You can get help with both your ingame and competitive team; you're more than welcome to ask our talented battlers anytime! I might be able to help out as well, especially since G/S/C are one of my all-time favorite games ever, hehe. So how long have you been playing Pokemon? Have a favorite game or type? Since you've made an introduction I'm going to assume it's okay for us to ask you for a bit more information. Nothing personal, just so we can get to know you. Though it seems like you've already given us some good things to go off of. Short but sweet introduction. Oh! And if you're looking to chat about G/S/C, excluding team help since that belongs in the Battle Center, you can poke around Metal & Color Generation Gaming. :D; There are plenty of cool members here who would love to talk about the first two generations given their popularity, after all.

Now that you remind me, I'd really like to play through Gold again. I played Silver months ago for my monotype challenge and haven't really picked up a second generation game since. HeartGold is great but it just doesn't give off the same feeling as G/S/C did (which isn't a bad thing, though). Emerald is usually my most-played game and is extremely addicting. Nowadays we're all eagerly anticipating the release of X and Y and trying to hold in our excitement by drowning in other Pokemon games, so perhaps you can relate to that!

Anything else you like outside the Pokemon games? Do you collect the merch or such? You can chat about pretty much anything here, so best make full use of the forum now that you're a member. We really would love to have you.

Have a great time and see you around, HSV! Be sure to let me know if you need any help with anything here!
