[PokeCommunity.com] The Xbox One - Coming soon!

What do you guys think of the upcoming XBox One? The release date is going to be around November 2013, and I think it'll cost around $499, €499, and £429. What do you guys think of the overall hardware, the schematics, it's features, and even the controller? What games are you looking forward for it? What games do you hopefully want for it? Are you going to buy this console?

    Feel free to discuss thoughts!

I really like the Xbox One. One of my favorite features is the built-in Kinect. It's very powerful, and has the ability to detect even the slightest of movements. Xbox One also allows you to multi-task, which could be very handy. The only bad thing about this system, though, is that it's not backward compatible. You will not be able to play any Xbox 360 games with it at all. If you get rid of your 360, then you'll be required to dump your 360 games, too. D:

I will not be buying an Xbox One in the foreseeable future. The only exclusive that seems even mildly appealing to me is Forza 5, but I don't feel that Microsoft gave me a solid reason for me to purchase their console anytime soon. I also think MS made a mistake with forcing Kinect to be packaged with the system, as not everyone (myself included) wants a Kinect, and the peripheral supposedly costs as much as the console itself to manufacture (can you imagine how much cheaper the system would be without it?)

Overall I currently feel it's lost potential, but maybe down the road I'll change my mind.

I'm still upset over the crap they tried to do when they first announced it. I have a feeling they are just going to reverse or slowly introduce those features back, so it's still PS4 for me.

I won't see myself getting a Xbox One in the future. I cannot trust Microsoft due to the DRM crap they pulled. I also won't be able to use a Kinect due to my living room being too small to have a Kinect function, and it's also because I'm sick of motion controls.

Sticking with the Wii U and PC this generation as I don't want to save up for a PS4 although I really want one.

Xbox One is a horrible name. I guess they tried to do think outside the box, which ended up horribly. "Are you going to get the new Xbox? No, I'm gonna get Xbox ONE" - Angry Joe

Plus all the **** they tried to pull off to their potential customers, such as enforcing harsh DRMs in place, even though they backtracked, doesn't sit well with me.
