Return of the Mighty King

Ages passed
and he was the best
Supreme ruler of all the land
and more capable than the rest

one day he was summoned
to defend a far off land
He left, saying goodbye to all
and traveled through the sand

Years passed
and he never returned
was he dead? Lost?
Or was he assumed to be burned?

No one knew
and the kingdom was thrown to peril
chaos was all around
and the peace and respect all fell

But a light appeard overhead
it was the mighty king
he had returned all these years
and the townspeople began to sing

The King returned peace to his land
and the rest they say is history
but things can get better
So says me
