my sprites - comments and crits extremely welcome!

here are some i did today! they are my first sprites, so don't be too harsh.

from scratch:


i used the head from the trainer-card images on this, but the rest is scratch:

The scratch,I must say,are excellent.
The Sandshrew looks near perfect, and the taller girl is awesome.
Though the smaller trainer sprite looks somewhat crooked. Work on the anatomy alittle. The backshot's hair shading is superb, as is the overworld's.
I'd like to see more from you ;) Keep it up, 9/10.

I think you could give the sandrew a little bit more work! And what about fishing, riding on bike, and sending out pokeball?

i do this the sandshrew needs a bit of work, but it's probably one of the harder pokemon to sprite because of all the lines over its body. i'm also using a limited colour pallete so i've kind of run out of colours.

as for the fishing, riding bike etc, i'm far too lazy for that :} maybe if somebody is desperate to use my character in a game, i will do it, but i don't think there is much demand for her as of yet. [although one day i am going to assemble pokemon:BADASS version and she will be the main character hahahahaa]

and i agree with what you said about the smaller character version - her legs are too short, i think. she was the first sprite i made though :}

25/10! Excellent! Just get rid of some of the pink outling on the sandshrew. The pink and the black together in the outline makes it look weird. But, yu are by far the best spriter I've ever seen sprite.

what do you mean about the outlining? the 'brick' lines on the sandshrew, or just the line around the edge?
