No Place Left

I used to be considered a good writer. But not here, I doubt it. Lots of people. Anyone here can be better than me any day.
I dunno. I do poems off the top of my head. So they're all quite pathetic. Besides, if I'm not mistaken, nobody ever responds to my threads.

I think there's some place left
Somewhere the light will shine on me
The one who holds my destiny
One place on this earth I know
Loves me. Somebody will
It's up to me to find the best of it all
And if I do, I will have found
My heaven, away from mighty hell
But the only sanctuary, if I choose to abandon
Gives no second chance, to rid of its burden
Now the stray come across you
Tell me please, what could I do?

And don't worry, I thought the same thing and I ended up having the largest poetry thread here.

I really like that. It's sad, but has a sense of hope. It reminds me of something I wrote, except the message was brought out quicker and smoother in yours I think o.o
