V8 Supercars.

I don't understand them. My city's been taken over by these horrible roaring machines for the last three days, and it's a right pain. A huge chunk of the city centre has been cut off for a week or two while they build the damn track, and over the last few days I've been able to hear the damn things roaring around . . . and around . . . and around, and around, and around. It's loud, it's a pain, and it costs the taxpayer millions of dollars for something many of us don't even care about.

The good thing, though, was that I got to see Good Charlotte live tonight (it's past midnight, actually, so last night), and it was awesome. I was kind of expecting to hear a few songs off Cardiology with a whole bunch of stuff I'd never heard before, but I recognised all but one or two of the songs. It was fantastic.

So yeah, I guess that was a fair tradeoff. But that was only this year - this crap happens annually, and Good Charlotte can't come every year. :/ Is the Hamilton 400 worth it? Not in my opinion.
