So, if you're in the workforce, you can probably level with me on this--
Have you ever had a co-worker that you just can't deal with, yet he gets away with almost everything? That's pretty much what's happening at my work. You see, the new co-worker that I'm working with in some shifts is sort of a jerk - he never wants to listen to what helpful advice anyone wants to say to him, no matter how polite and patient they are, and he generally prefers to blame others for his mistakes.
"Oh but you never showed me how!!" he would say after he held up the customer line for 5 minutes, after I explained to him how to use the cash register for the last... 10 minutes. .__.
"But that customer is just impossible to deal with!!" he would say, after he had no idea what the customer actually asked for, so it was probably justified that the customer got so frustrated with him.
Apparently, the supervisor hasn't done anything to deal with him for some reason - even after my other veteran co-workers have complained about him for the last couple of days. I'm probably not explaining this enough in this entry, but, yeah. I've spoken to him a few times to just calm down and straighten up a bit, because it was for his own good, but to no avail so far.
