    Today, the 31st of August, is my country, Malaysia's Independence Day. Happy Independence Day/Selamat Hari Merdeka, Malaysia, my home country! That one country which I was born in and grew up in; that one country which is so full of diversity that any flaws and imperfections it may have are outnumbered - no, outshined by its vast cultural beauty and its unique racial unity that doesn't exist anywhere else in the world. I feel very blessed to be Malaysian.
