If you were trying to finish off your trades in 4th/5th Gen and then noticed this...

...that's because the wi-fi services for Wii and Nintendo DS has officially closed down as of 11:00pm (GMT) on May 20th, 2014. It effectively ends all the online functionality of the past two generations we were all familiar with, as a result of the falling of Gamespy. And it also ends Trade Corner's 4th and 5th Gen trading services, bringing massive changes to the section as we all cope to the last remaining source of Nintendo wi-fi being on X and Y, and pretty much everything with Wii U and 3DS as its name.
The death of Nintendo WFC didn't really hurt me that much since the wi-fi I have never really connected to my DS at all (and weirdly my 3DS as well) meaning I never got the chance to utilize such features, but everything has to move on at some point.
Farewell, Nintendo WFC. You lasted a good lifetime that lasted almost 10 years.
