I'm ashamed to say it but I'm having trouble with a 100-level statistics paper... only 3 weeks in. ;_______________;
I'm supposed to be doing my assignment right now which is due in in about 13 hours but I just can't work out how to do it. Its my own fault for missing the tutorial last week but honestly, it shouldn't be THIS difficult by the third week.
I'm pretty stressed at the moment so I'll procrastinate a bit longer by sharing my thoughts on Harry Potter 6!
The sixth book is my second favourite of the Harry Potter series so I had some pretty high expectations. Overall I was pretty underwhelmed, this isn't to say it was a bad movie, if anything my expectations were probably unreasonable.
The main problem I had with it was how much they focussed on the romances between the Hogwarts students. It took up close to half the film (which is a lot considering the running time). It was very well done, even with the awkward acting by most of the younger cast, it was very believable. I would have liked them to focus more on Snape (where was the memory with him and Harry's parents?) who just so happens to be my favourite character.
Most scenes were setup very well, especially the scene where Dumbledore dies, I'm pretty sure I stopped breathing for a full 5 minutes during it. My favourite part was the cinematography which was absolutely gorgeous but of course thats something we've come to expect of Harry Potter movies.
All in all, a fantastic must-see movie but nothing revolutionary for the series. Didn't feel like a movie in its own right, more like the prequel to the final movie(s?) but thats not necessarily bad. ;3
