Okay, listen to me read and obey my instructions.
Go to the top of this page (But make sure you can still read this :P), find where it says "User CP". Move your mouse aaaaaaaallllll the way over to the right, and- No, too far. Nooooo. Go back to FAQs. Yeah... And to the left. No, no, not to rules. Okay, move to the-
No, not back to FAQs. I just told you not to go to-
That button in the middle, go to that.
What do you mean there's no button in the middle? It's right there! It says "Groups"!
Wait, you can't see it?
Ah. That explains it.[/NOTCOMPATIBLEWITHALLTHEMES]
So, you can't see the Groups button? The one that, you know, takes you to groups?
Or did you forget it was there?
That's okay. I did too.
You wanna know why?
Because nobody ever uses them. Ever.
I mean, really. I checked the groups. It's a sad, sad state of affairs. You have a few new groups that are experiencing the New Group Burst of Activity. That's common.
In a week, the group'll be totally forgotten.
Because nobody uses groups.
And it saddens me, because groups are great places to get together and chat.
What? We have fanclubs for that?
TAKE YOUR SMART MOUTH OUT OF HERE, THEN. IF YOU'RE HAPPY WITH YOUR FANCLUBS, THEN GET OUT, AND NEVER COME BACK.
EEEEEEVEEEEEEEER.
Still here?
Good.
Let me convince you that Groups>FCs.
How?
Magic. Science. Psuedo-logic. Mostly the third one, because I make stuff up for fun and profit.
Like how FCs are 97.5% more likely to kill you than Groups. Ever heard of someone being killed by a PC Group?
Exactly.
Anyway.
See, FCs are great, but they only go so far. You have one thread, which can bounce between subjects, seasons, even fandoms... It gets messy.
Whereas, with groups, you can make as many threads as you want, and keep it more organized.
And yet, more people use FCs than groups.
LAZY PIECES OF SLIME.
Use a Group, and I'll swerve to avoid hitting a puppy the next time I drive.
Use a FC, and I'll stomp on the accelerator every time I see a cute little animal.
Use groups more.
For me.
Or kittens.
Or whatever else you like.
