More Japanese music for you to try out. I'm making it half as long this time with just five so as not to overwhelm. As before, I feel these are good artists that anyone can appreciate, but then I'm biased. :p

Shiina Ringo
The daughter that John Lennon and Yoko Ono never had and musical chameleon. She can do any kind of music and make it good, but her poppy and jazzy stuff is especially excellent. IF YOU ONLY LISTEN TO ONE MAKE IT THIS ONE.
Sample: kuki, koufukuron (etsuraku hen), tsumi to batsu (and if you liked the last two then here's a bonus)

Sakamoto Ryuichi
World famous composer who usually makes classical and piano music, but also some ambient as well. Very pretty and peaceful.
Sample: Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Solitude, Koko

Rurutia
Dreamy, electronic, sometimes ethereal, new-age-y pop music.
Sample: hareruya, Lost Butterfly, Seirios

Do As Infinity
Jpop mixed with Jrock. One of my favorite bands of all time. Their music is overflowing with fun.
Sample: tooku made, honjitsu wa seiten nari, shinjitsu no uta, kagaku no yoru

Nakashima Mika
Very similar in description to Shiina Ringo in that she's great with pop and jazzy music and also works in other styles, but her voice and approach are more laid back and relaxing.
Sample: GLAMOROUS SKY, LOVE IS ECSTASY, FAKE
