  • Did I ever tell you guys my two favorite bands?

Well, they are Three Days Grace and Sick Puppies.

There's a reason why these two are my favorites...

Three Days Grace is the easiest for me to understand. Adam Goniter is someone I idolize...until he left Three Days Grace. He has demons inside him, I have darkness inside me, I can understand his music perfectly. I can't last three days without listening to Three Days Grace. When Adam was replaced with Matt Walsh or whatever his name was, I got upset because Adam Goniter has the most unique voice! Their music is dark, too. Without Adam it loses that feeling.

Now, Sick Puppies... um... their music is... different. Some music almost drives me to tears. It's so beautiful that I want to cry when listening to it. Some of their music is also dark like "Pitiful" is dark, lol. Some of their music is amazing while I know little to nothing about Simon Moore, they are my second choice when listening to music.

Some of my other favorite bands are:

    Papa Roach.
    Drowning Pool.
    Godsmack.
    Trapt. (Only for Headstrong).
My Chemical Romance. (Omg why did they break up?)
    Nine Inch Nails.
    Red Hot Chili Peppers.
    Avenged Sevenfold.
    The Doors.
    Other classical rock bands...
Any band with rock as their main genre.

I love music, I used to hate it... D:

BUT THREE DAYS GRACE FOREVER! (Sick Puppies semi-forever.)

  • I used to be huge on Three Days Grace also, Adam really was an amazing person. I was really sad to hear him go, and right after a pretty good release too. :I I haven't heard Matt's singing, is it any good?

And I've only listened to one Sick Puppies song, Tables or something like that. They seem pretty good!

Also, old Papa Roach was the stuff. I don't like their new stuff much though. =(

I'd recommend zebrahead, just saying. A little bit more punk, but they have some really good stuff, imo. =D

I haven't heard some of those bands, but it seems like we have similar taste in music. {:

Have you heard Breaking Benjamin yet?

  • Three Days Grace were just in my city yesterday at my local alternative's station's music festival called Pointfest. There were lots of other great bands like Sick Puppies as well, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Papa Roach, P.O.D. , Bullet For My Valentine , Hollywood Undead, Volbeat, Stardog Champions, and some lesser known stuff and local bands. My little brother went and I'm so jealous of him. :~: (here's a list of bands. http://www.1057thepoint.com/pointfest/)

Three Days Grace's new album was alright in my opinion but they were better with Adam.
Out of the other bands you listed, I love My Chemical Romance. In my blog I wrote an entire about how they changed my life. Shouldn't be hard to find if you want to read it. So sad they broke up. :(

Other bands I like are Relient K, Switchfoot, August Burns Red, P.O.D. , Skillet, RED, Demon Hunter, All Time Low, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, evanescence , lots of alternative and rock music. Lots of indie bands like Imagine Dragons, fun., Walk The Moon, Of Monsters and Men, Twenty One Pilots.Youngblood Hawke, Passion Pit, Death Cab For Cutie, etc.

I think you'll like Skillet, especially their older stuff, if you haven't listened to them you should. Plus their new album Rise drops June 25 and the two new songs already released, particularly, Sick of It are amazing.
