Pokemon fandom issues

This isn't really another rant about the Pokemon fandom (or maybe it is somewhat) but I'm so sick of the fandom that I find myself visiting Zelda sites, 4chan and youtube to escape from it all. I'm sick of all the old anime arguments and conflict. I keep remembering that it's just an anime and the only aspect that should be important to me is Shinji and that I don't need the anime to enjoy him because if I really try, I can draw Shinji better than the animators half the time. In fact just recently I drew Shinji so well that I decided that I'm going to use that drawing for reference and not an actual screenshot.


Only problem is that the bottom of his face seems off

Well, be happy you haven't been called something really hateful just because you're a fan of a certain shipping. I'm not talking about the popular shippings. Let's just say that I could have taken the person to court for false allegations and harassment if he really pushed the issue.

True that. There are just some fandoms where there is no room for criticizing at all. And if you do decide to be bold enough to criticize, you get mobbed. *coughtwilightcough*

If you're talking about the anime section, I think it's improved a lot ~ The only thing I don't like about it is the "Sick of Ash" thread because it has an infestation of a bug ~ Otherwise, I'm pretty much fine with it now.

Actually Jorah, I'm just sick of the fandom as a whole. At the anime sections of SPPf and Bulbagarden, there is too much going on and I realize that the more I stay away from the Pokemon sites or at least the forums anime-centric, I feel this wave of relief wash over me. Zelda is my main escape and so is other anime and art.

I still like the characters like Shinji though.
