Guilty Pleasures: Most Extreme Elimination Challenge

I'm going to start a new series of blog entries that have a certain theme among them. Sort of like Signomi's MSN!nomi entries and all those entries Nica makes with her misadventures in MSN.

My blog series: Guilty Pleasures! Or anything close to them. Basically, you like something a lot, but are too ashamed to let anyone know about. Well, I have a lot of those and I feel like sharing a few of my so-called guilty pleasures.

I would like to share something that I wanted to do ever since I first saw it.

I don't know if any of you people here watch Spike TV. The Men's network where they show a lot of crap sometimes, but they do have that one diamond in the rough if you know where to look. Early on in the network's existence, there was this show called "Most Extreme Elimination Challenge". Probably one of the funniest shows I've watched. If you guys ever watched that show, then you know how the format is. Anyway, these two announcers host this reality sports competition show where the people go through all kinds of funny stunts. You can tell the voices are 100% dubbed. And that was the beauty of it.

Well for the longest time, I REALLY WANTED to be on that show. I wanted to hang with Captain Tenneal, Vic and Kenny and put up with Guy LaDouche and get myself wrecked from competing in Sinkers and Floaters, Log Drop, Pole Riders and all those other fun games. Then I realized that if I wanted to be on that show, I had to go back in time to 1986 and hope that the clips that I'm in get selected to be on the show and have them redubbed. It still makes me wish that show that MXC was based on was still around. I would most likely hopped a plane to Japan just to get wrecked.

Even though the show's not on anymore, I still enjoy watching it, thanks to MXC being on DVD. I don't tell many people this, but now you all know. ^^
