  • So... is anyone else having trouble with finding work? Really, I hate not having the money to buy anything I want... like anime DVDs, a decent computer, the unlimited internet access package, new video games... and pending student loans are downright terrifying...

What really sucks is that I have a master's degree; if the economy was better I would be working a steady job instead of being stuck at home putting up with the family and their constant annoyance... in a part of the country (IN THE COUNTRY) where there are absolutely no jobs available. I hate living here. I need work so I can get myself somewhere better.

Anyone else in the same boat as me? Oh, and sorry for the rambling rant about my personal problems.

  • I hear you. I'm constantly looking for jobs, but no one will ever take you, even if they need the position filled. I really don't like that. Well for me, I'm trying to get a basic part-time job, and it's hard because no one's willing to take you. I'm a person who has finished year 12 at school, and a certificate course, all at the same time, and I find it hard.

Your best bet would be to go around to places which interest you and ask for work experience. Show these places what you can do, and then that gives you more references, and if you do a good job, they might take you on for paid or something. :)

  • A decent job is nice for me, but I just don't have the time for it on my end, even though I could really use some extra money for stuff that I want (a Nintendo DS for crying out loud >_>). I know how that feels, and you're not the only one suffering.

You should look for places beyond your area, maybe you could end up with more opportunities.

  • Argh, that sucks. I am really worried about that too, I mean, you can do as well as you can in getting qualififed but unless there is work for you it isn't worth anything.

You said you got your masters but you can't find work? What is happening in the world at the moment.
