Stilll on the way home from the shops, but the connection tour was great.
I met up with Eon-Rider there and we took on the various mini games that were part of the MotionPlus series. I've got to admit, the games were mostly great and intuitive, although the Virtua Tennis was really clumsy. Quite literally, the players occasionally trip over without warning. Maybe that was just me - Eon-Rider thrashed me. XD
I have to say the best games were the Fencing, which was a damn workout - you have to knock your opponent off a podium, but you can block their blows and stun them...
...or you can just flail about. :D
The other great game was the Dogfighting planes. You have to shoot the opponent down and collect balloons, which are effectively health. We tied on that game, so it was close. :D
We both got the Secret Key for Rotom, as I was too lazy to get it at the Target Promo the other week. There was some other event distibuting, but I didn't get the chance to check it out.
I then managed to just snag a victory on MK Wii; I green shelled Eon-Rider just before the finish and snuck past. It was a bit of a fluke, but funny, nonetheless. :D
Prizes!
There were tonnes of giveaways, and we managed to snag a few. I'll update with pictures of the freebies when I get home, m'kay?
It was a great day, and I'm glad I went. It was great to meet Eon-Rider and getting to try out the games.
Archy - Out!
EDITO: Here's my freebies. My camera decided to die on me, so this was taken with my phone, so sorry about the quality...
Psst, I only went for the hat on the left. :D
