Dear PokeCommunity,
I am poisonously happy. Almost too happy. It's sickening. But, there's a reason why. I finally presented something of value and meaning in my life. I was working on a bullying project in TV and Media Production class. I went to Five Town's college yesterday. I was one of the five students in my school that was presenting their videos. Mine was about anti-bullying. I based it off of events that happened in my fourth grade life. The time when I got into Pokemon. It all started with my computer journey story that I wrote a long time ago. My teacher liked the idea and wanted me to a project like that for Five Towns. Although it was changed up a bit, okay, mostly things were changed, but it was a really good experience. The video was taken in many shots. Not just one. It took weeks to do it. A lot of editing and a lot of recording. And then about three weeks ago, the permission slips came out. Daddy payed for me to go on the trip.
So yesterday I presented my work. I was nervous when I was presenting, but I got over it. The judges told me that the story was touching and they liked the music at the end. Although I didn't win best in show I had a great time, I'm actually happy I didn't win best in show--I wasn't prepared for that sort of jump. Since it was put on a DVD a few days before the trip I can now show it to other teachers. I showed it to my psychologist today and she loved it, she even wants to show it to a group. My parents liked it too. It's nice to know that I'm actually good at something other then writing. I might want to go to Five Town's College when it's my time to decide where I want to go--I'm seriously thinking about getting into a video animation career. I think that's my purpose in life. That and writing, both are my purpose of being.
So, yeah, I'm happy. Maybe too happy, but eh.
