Started a breeding project.

    Hey guys.

It's been quite some time since I've actually posted a new blog - I've been meaning to post in it some more, but I'm afraid that procrastination has gotten the better of me, until now.

So, for this entry, I've decided to start a breeding project: trying to get a shiny Fennekin via the Masuda Method. I've gotten a male Growlithe from someone from the Netherlands, which if I'm not mistaken, should be able to trigger this method. That, & it'll also have Heat Wave, which is one of Fennekin's egg moves.

I've already had around 12 eggs from last night, but... only four of them were keepers...

It was then that I realized that there still isn't 100% chance that the mother will pass down their hidden ability, which sucks balls... That means that I have to be very selective.

If the offspring has a bad nature &/or doesn't have the hidden ability, he/she gets released. Those with neutral natures or otherwise has one that won't have a detrimental effect on their combat performance will get wonder traded. Those with good natures will be kept & be distributed around PC to those who are seeking a Magician Fennekin.

Right now, I've got three of them, however I've set aside the best one that I had into the Pokémon Bank for future plans, so that leaves me with two of them as of the typing of this blog. So, if anyone's looking for one, don't hesitate to ask me.

Rather than worrying about offspring potentially getting a poor nature, use an everstone on a parent so it will pass down.

Good luck. MMing can be a real troll.

Well sadly, neither of the parents have a good nature, so that method is out of the question for me.
