In three days time I'm going to be twenty years old, and whenever that thought crosses my mind it feels like my heart stops momentarily... It's such a weird thing to think about. It feels like being a teenager lasted forever (I guess six years of being in the "teen" ages went a bit slower than I thought). I honestly don't even feel like I'm going to be twenty; I still feel like I'm still seventeen or something with the mentality of a two- to five-year-old child. Add that with the physical limitations to a seventy-year-old, lol.
Did it feel strange to any of you once you left the teenage years and entered the adult years, or did it just feel "natural" to you? (I can't really think of how to word that second question, sorry!)
