This morning, my parents were considering to go to a certain plaza. We used to go there, long before big malls were built in my city. My mom told me, I used to told my dad, go this way, go that way, basically, a shortcut, after some days of observing the road, when I was a kid. After the nostalgia chit chat, we're about to arrive at that plaza, only to find out that something unexpected will happen soon.
When I arrive, my dad is about to take a ticket. I and my parents remember that we're used to take one from someone who is in the post. However, it's different this time. I see a ticket machine, and because we haven't come in a really long time, my dad just go on, hoping to take the ticket from the post, not realizing that the ticket have come out from the ticket machine. Wow, my dad realized that after someone in the post told him that taking the ticket from the post is now for motorcycles only, and my dad eventually take the ticket from the machine.
And when I enter the plaza, I see that almost 40 percent of the plaza have changed. The Department Store still staying, but things are a lot different now, the disc store that I used to visit was replaced with shoes store, and several stores are kind of abandoned and empty...
I hope that plaza lives on despite of how many malls that are in my city right now, even though I prefer malls more.
