After arriving in Eterna City and easily defeating the Grass-type gym with Singe the Monferno (and a little help from Princess the Luxio), I went into Team Galactic's hideout in Eterna. The grunts were no trouble to get out of my way.
But then, right as I was approaching the final set of stairs, a scientist attacked me with a Kadabra. I had been training my Buizel throughout this hideout, in order to help her learn Aqua Jet. We were getting close, so she was leading the party. She weakened the Kadabra so that all was needed was one more Pursuit attack - but Kadabra managed to get in a critical hit with Confusion.
RIP Ginny the Buizel, lvl 10-15. She had so much potential...
Enraged by her friend's demise, Princess took over where Ginny left off. She leaped at the Kadabra and, without mercy, used Bite with a critical hit.
After pushing Galactic out of their Eterna hideout and mourning the loss of my speedy Water-type, I moved onto Route 211 and caught Hoppy the Chingling. Doofy has also been promoted from HM slave to temporary (or possibly permanent) full party member. Bidoof and Bibarel are underestimated Pokémon.
Team at the moment:
Stewie, Singe, Princess, Godude, Doofy, Hoppy
