  • ...that if you think POSITIVELY, with POSITIVE thoughts, all the POSITIVE things will come to you in return.

Technically, I wasn't supposed to start school until tomorrow afternoon, from 3:30 to 9:40. I was dreading that schedule so much because the fact that I have to take night classes AGAIN really turned me off. After I spoke with my counselor about my transfer plans to Houston, I bumped into my former Marketing professor (who's the head of the Business department). I told him that I was going to have him twice for the two elective classes I planned to take (and needed toward the degree I'm getting, as well as needed towards transferring to Houston). He told me "I'm teaching the same classes at 11:50 today, if you come and crash, you're more likely in!" And I did, I showed up at 11:50, and my professor allowed me to crash both classes even though they were both full, and now I don't have to show up tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 to go through the same process again. Bless this guy.

Speaking of Houston, my admissions advisor emailed me the application for admission, as well as the requirements I need to do in order to get in the university. I'm excited, but at the same time nervous. The email, for me, contains an opportunity that I'll either make it or break it. I have to do the online application, send in the application fee, send in my transcripts, and do the admission essay. The essay is making me nervous, because apparently the people over there WILL read it. So I gotta do my best.

It was becoming a wonderful day, and it got even better when I finally made the decision to return to the gym for Zumba classes, and I also got two job interviews this week. One tomorrow and one Thursday. I have a feeling everything in my life is ~finally~ coming together. As long as I keep thinking positively, everything will go well. Maybe that's something I lacked for a long while. The "positivity" was there, but I tend to be pretty pessimistic and hide away from what's coming at me.
