Exams. Horrid, monstrous creations of the school board. Brought up from the depths of hell for the sole purpose of destroying the lives of teens and young adults for the month before summer.
Video games. The main topic of this blog. Let me share you an experience I had today...
Exam studying is in full force, so when my parents gave me the opportunity to get out of the house, I immediately took it. My father is crazy for movies. Him + Blockbuster = Sex. Him + Blockbuster mega closing sale = really really good Sex. It was cool, because they had Megaman Zero Collection for 20 bucks, a game I have been searching for for months on end, and have not seen until this day. I had to take the opportunity to pick it up. They also had Dead Space 2 (limited edition woah) for the PS3 for $25, great deal as well. Yea, im pretty cheap. This would all be great, but ive been low and cash lately, so these purchases didnt really help that. But, in my mind, it would all be okay, because then I could go home, hastily finish my homework, and play some new games. My parents are barely in the drive-through, and I jump out of the car, run inside the house and into my room, to come to a horrid realization. I had traded in my DS for a 3DS, which is coming in for another month. My parents..."strategically" took away my PS3 until exams were over. I felt stupid and crushed. And now im blogging about it...I really should go and study. At least i'll have summer! Bye PC <3
